When I first started out I have to admit I wasn't very creative when it came to villager requests to change their catchphrases & greetings, but after a couple of years playing I've gotten better at it.

What are some of your favorite Catchphrases & Greetings ?

It's kinda random who I give them to, and sometimes it works well and is pretty funny.

Here are some of my favorite: Some I've used, and some I plan to use in the future.

"Dyn-o-mite"
"D'oh!"
"Holy crap!"
"Bam!"
"Heh heh"
"Good grief"
"Make it so"
"That's hot"
"Ruh-roh"
"You eediot!"
"You rang?"
"just do it"
"have mercy"
"Cowabunga!"
"Mm'kay?"
"Narf!"
"Booyaka"
"Dirt bag"
"Toodle-oo"

I have my characters say something related to hockey.

Oh my gosh, those catchphrases are amazing XD For me, it usually depends on the villager- for instance, “hoppin” for Carmen and “tweetiepie” for Midge- but recently I’ve been giving my villagers catchphrases related to Psych, like “hellooo” and “pineapple” and “c’mon son” :p

I make Puck say stuff like zamboni, goon,Dunlop, cementhead and Lemieux.

I have Inkwell's greeting set to "Stay-fresh!" and his catchphrase set to "Booyah!" as a splatoon reference, and Zucker's greeting as "Rasshai!" and his catchphrase as "takoyaki" to match his sushi bar house ^^

Oh, Amelia, you snooty bird :) Her catchphrase has since changed to 'ma ch?ri,' but this moment was just too perfect. Amelia greets me 'Salut, ma douce' and calls me 'sweetie' now which is neat, and Sydney my Koala villager greets me 'G'day, sunshine,' which is pretty darn cute. These are the only ones I really like tbh. I'm working on the others/waiting for my other dreamies (of which Amelia is one) before I put in much effort on personalisation, so aside from my eagle gal they're all quite vanilla atm!

That's adorable, I never really paid much attention to the eagle villagers, but this has definitely made me think one might be a good addition to my town. Thanks for posting this.

I love tweetiepie, since Tweety Bird was one of my favorite cartoon characters.

My villagers are all huge RuPaul's Drag Race fans so they like to use catchphrases from that:

No tea, no shade
Shantay you stay
Sashay away
Ockurrrr
Hunty
Miss Vanjie

I've had people visit my town and complain that my animals talk funny, hahaha.

Buck:
"I'm an olive!" (the reason is because his skin resembles the colour of an olive, and I LOVE it)
"Neigh"

Bones:
"Kamusta na" (It means how are you in Filipino)
"arp!"

Agent S:
"FLUFFY MUNCHLING"
"Moof"

Celia:
"Come here baby!"
"Sweetie"

Tipper:
"I'll tip'er over" (get it?)
"Muuuuuu"

Tangy:
"Meow wow orange!"
"Wop wop!"

Kitt:
"Fleep floop flop"

Gruff:
*cough*

Deirdre:
"I'm a deer!"
"Spades"

Jacques:
"Bonjour"

I really make greetings according to the villagers. But sometimes they're downright random. XD
