For me, I recently played a new game called Exploding Kittens and it was a ton of fun.
But a couple favorites are Catan and Risk.

I love how cheesy and stupid Dream Phone is and I remember playing it growing up so there's some nostalgia there. The dialogue alone makes the game worth it.

I haven't played it in awhile but I usually pick the trailer and the lowest paying job. Then I see how many kids I can get. One time I managed to get almost 3 vans full of kids. Just the thought of living in a crappy trailer and most of my kids living in vans always was amusing to me. It's fun seeing just how crap I can make their lives.
Other games I like: Clue, 13 Dead End Drive, and The Worst Case Scenario.

Ahh yes, Catan is really gud, haven't played it for ages though.
Also I love me some old school stuff like Reversi/Othello or just regular playing card games like 21, random poker stuff etc.

we pretty much only play ticket to ride in my family. i like USA and Europe the most of the different maps I have played.
I also really like some card games, uno, skip-bo etc but i don't play that often hahahh.
my mom is really into board games so she buys new ones almost every year. she bought one with a panda last year hah. and she bought the catlan one but we haven't played it yet. :<

I always love a good round of Uno. But that isn't really a board game, so I guess Aggravation maybe? Oooo actually Battleship is pretty fun.

Also this kids game where you got take different cards, one with hat, one with shirt, pants, shoes etc. and your goal was to get a complete creature with all the set in the same category so the thing would look like an actual animal/person and you could trade and buy with each other etc. I think it was called Mix-Max in Swedish.. lol?

Trivial Pursuit is my absolute fave. No one ever wants to play with me though, because they think it's boring. DX I also really like Monopoly. 13 Dead End Drive is super fun, but it's a pain to set up.

Yes, TP is awesome but yeah my grandma has the first edition in swedish, and since I love that kind of useless facts no one wants to play that with me lol.
Also this kids game. I think it's called like Under the Ground or something, but basically you have to move your moles so they step in the holes cause you remove a layer of the playing board everytime and those not in holes are out and you play a couple of layers with fewer and fewer holes until you're down to the last where there is only one person getting the golden spade thing
