We are now best friends. Are you going to be seeing Black Flag live by any chance?

Nah. None of the dates are anywhere near me. I'm not sure if I'd be interested in seeing a Black Flag concert in 2013 anyways. I'm not one of those "Rollins = Black Flag" idiots, but I really think bands sometimes need to stay dead.

Edit - If you like Minor Threat, you should really, really listen to Fugazi. It's the band Ian MacKaye formed a few years after Minor Thread dissolved. Absolutely killer sound (that changed dramatically over the years), and they have released quite a bit of material. I still consider the day I bought their albums Repeater and In On The Kill Taker to be a pretty important event in my life.

Edit Edit - Also I just realized I was a month late in that reply.

My music taste is all over the place and changes constantly. For years I was into the whole 'alternative' scene and that was followed by five years of dedication to the artists of Johnny's Entertainment & Avex. Over the past year or so I've been drawn more towards Britain's indie music scene because a lot of my friends are musicians. Admittedly, they play more rock and metal whereas I prefer the darkwave / electronic scene.

Lately I've been listening mostly to:

AFI
AlterRed
Amanda Palmer
Blaqk Audio
Method Cell
NU'EST
Obscure Pleasures
William Control

However, if we're talking overall favourites then it would be more like:

Ayumi Hamasaki
BIGBANG
Darren Hayes
KAT-TUN
Marilyn Manson
Milan Stankovic
Placebo
Savage Garden

I don't really listen to bands that often, but some of my favorites would be System of a Down (most favorite out of all of em), Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Capital Cities, Metallica, Gorillaz, and Pink Floyd. My favorite singer would have to be Ed Sheeran. I like more than that, but I'm tired at the moment and can't remember most of them :p
