Favorite 3D Zelda Game?

What are your favorite 3D Zelda games? Here's mine:

1) Twilight Princess
2) Skyward Sword
3) Wind Waker
4) Ocarina of Time
5) Majora's Mask


First off, I have never played Ocarina of Time on the N64, but rather on the 3DS. I still see it as the same game so whatever. I think the reason why most people say it is the best game is simply because of nostalgia, and how it greatly changed video games. I'm played this in 2014, so it isn't really what I thought. It was fun, but it wasn't great. The story was pretty weak and the dungeons weren't very fun. For Majora's Mask, I didn't play it.

Of course, the fact that Twilight Princess is #1 is probably due to the fact it was one of the first video games I played. WW was my first Zelda game, but I don't really remember a lot about it. Basically what I value in a video game is the story, dungeons, and art style.

I'd say out of this list, the best would be between Twilight Princess and Wind Waker myself. (A Link to the Past is the best Zelda game though). Also I think Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks are missing from the list, not that many people would vote for them.

Like Misuzurin Hour Glass and Spirit tracks are missing >_< I personally would put Hour Glass 3rd in my list.

Skyward Sword or Majora's Mask for me. I honestly didn't really like Wind Waker at all.

Wind Waker for me. The sense of freedom and art style really make it one of my favorites. I loved filling out the seachart and exploring. Majora's Mask is a close second.

Out of the rest though I'd probably say Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess. They're probably equal tbh.

I'm not a huge fan of the 3D-Zeldas, but this is how I would rank them:

1. Ocarina of Time
2. Wind Waker (a very close call between these two and also difficult to compare since they're quite different)
3. Majora's Mask
4. Twilight Princess

I still haven't played Skyward Sword so I can't really say anything about it.

I didn't really like SS and WW that much. I agree with oath, I thought SS was terrible - still played it but didn't really like it. My favourite would have to be Majora's Mask (cos everything about it).

I grew up playing Wind Waker, so I might be a little biased but I love it with all my heart. <3 Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time are about even, I haven't played much of Majora's Mask and Skyward Sword.

(just btw, I'm a huge fan of Phantom Hourglass, and might pick it because Linebeck has a slight edge on everyone ever.)
I just didn't like Twilight Princess. Turning into a wolf was lame, sorry. Never played Majora's Mask.

1. Majora's Mask (the atmosphere is sooooooo good and seeing basically AU versions of Ocarina's cast in kinda cool. also one of my favorite Zelda plots)
2. Windwaker (love its visual style and characters, though it suffers quite a bit mid-late game, good plot and also (spoiler)LINK STABS GANONDORF IN THE HEAD. probably has my favorite soundtrack overall of these games too)
3. Ocarina (decent game, but stupidly easy and doesn't really have anything that makes it stand out aside from being first 3D Zelda... also basically A Link to the Past rehash in terms of plot)
4. Twilight Princess (gigantic barren bland land, uninspired visual style, and a plot that's basically a rehash of Ocarina which as mentioned is also a rehash of A Link to the Past.... Wii version gets extra points for suckage due to its godawful controls)
5 Skyward Sword (list of good things: better NPC AI reaction and Groose)

Ocarina of Time by a mile. If A Link To The Past was added, that would be a close 2nd.

For me, Twilight Princess. You could say it's because of its significant standpoint in my childhood... but that's not the case; otherwise, I'd like OoT more for being one of the first three video games I ever played. But, personally, I always find TP amazingly fun and, compared to a lot of Zeldas, immensely underrated alongside Skyward Sword. I always loved galloping across Hyrule Field on Epona: I always feel free there, unlike in OoT with Epona's stiff animation. The dungeons also had their tricky moments, whereas they're hideously easy in OoT, as I always felt.

Not that I don't love OoT- there are just games that are better, in my opinion. No offense to any OoT fans.
