Fauna doesn't seem to want to move out so does scanning an amiibo card put her in boxes? I just want to get her to someone today, or tomorrow max.

If you scan an amiibo card and choose to replace Fauna, Fauna will automatically go into boxes. I do believe that to get the option to replace someone you need to be at the maximum villager limit (10)
