I'm so sad atm. I've literally talked to her every day and she said nothing of wanting to move out. When I went to her house, everything was in boxes so I guess it's to late now.
What happened is you didn't talk to her enough. I try to speak to each of my villagers a couple of times per day. When anyone pings you, it's important to talk to them. Most times, it's about something silly, but other times they might want to leave or they'll suggest a PWP. Other villagers will sometimes mention a rumor that someone is thinking of moving. If that ever happens, you need to get the villager in question to ping you. That's when you have the option to stop them.
Anyway, I'm sorry this has happened to you. At least now you know to be extra careful.
Sorry to hear that
I've been lucky with my dream villagers, since I lost ed I now try and talk to as many as possible who are outside. Often I've found that even though I've spoke to the loving villager that day they don't always ping. Instead I hear it from somebody else and then save/quit and when I load back up they ping.
I can see how it happens, if you only wait for a ping to find out if somebody is moving. I'm just really paranoid about it
Sorry she is moving
The 16 villager cycle makes things so much harder too.
I have been talking to her everyday on several occasions which makes it so strange!! Though I have 10 villagers in my town right now (Counting with Fauna) and I read on some forums that sometimes it just happens randomly?
awww that's sad. it never happens randomly. they have to ping you, she won't mention it if you just talk to her. that actually could have been the problem, if you talk to them a lot, they won't get a chance to ping. you also have to talk to several villagers a few times & one of them will mention that a villager is thinking about moving
Sorry you lost her. The first time I played the game bud moved out and I didn't know. Talk to your villagers a lot soon they will ask you if they can move out.
Sorry about Fauna. I always wait for the first ping of the day before speaking to the villagers.
Than I make the rounds to find out what everyone wants and for rumors of a mover.
I also check the villagers inside and talk do 3 conversations before leave. They can sell out the villager that is trying to skip town.
After that I go about my day and let the villagers ping me if I haven't got any rumors. I started taking a picture when they said they were staying. Playing 4 towns it's hard to keep track.
In the future, try and keep track of your move pings. If it's been more than 5 days since your last ping it's safe to assume someone's just not telling you they're planning on moving. If you are afraid someone is going to move out, when you go to play for the first time on a day, don't load one of your characters, but instead go through the train sequence of making a new character. Walk around your town and check to make sure no one is in boxes. If everyone is there you can quit without saving and load up normally, but if someone is in boxes, quit without saving and using your 3DS system clock, travel back one day and find that villager and stalk them until they ping you.
I didn't realize you need to talk to you villagers enough. I usually get pinged when one of my favourites want to leave and I just say no. It's good to know that this could happen! So I can be super careful with my favs. Good luck trying to get her back
