Can someone please try to convince me to either watch the movie or read the book? I really don't see the hype in it.. A girl with cancer plus a love story sounds sweet and all but.. don't see how it could attract so many people. Pls come to- I mean, please tell me what it's really about.

Honestly, why I think so many people are drawn to the book is not because of its love theme, or the fact that the main character is a cancer survivor. The book has no ordinary plot, I guess it's the universal theme of life, and in this case the P.O.V comes from a sickly patient. Many pity the sick and this book completely tries to overrule that idea, they're ordinary, too. The whole love story adds to theme of life, how some choose to live it and how it's a part of it.

Lol, I babble too much, this probably doesn't make sense. Anyway, 10/10 I'd recommend. ^^

oHM Y GOD MY EYES LITERALLY OPENED WHEN I SAW THE THREAD OMG. I have been wANTING TO MAKE THE THREAD but I was scared because what if no one even cares but AHHHH bless you for making this thread!!!!!! I have been needing to let out some of my feels for this book//(movie?) for a while now but I don't know anyone else that has read it uGH.

I seriously can't wait for the movie, I've been waiting for so long. At first though I didn't really wanna watch the trailer because I had perfect characters in my head and I was afraid that the casts will kill them (just like the previous books i loved that became ehh) and wOW I wasn't disappointed at the trailer. Though they'll leave some scenes, I wonder which ones they're gonna make. it would be a damn pleasure to see them :')

I was kinda disappoint about one character tbh Gus though where those blue eyes??????lol nah I looked up ansel on youtube and he so those have the smile , the personality of Gus soooooo I can't wait for da movie xD !!!!!!!!

Yeah, I was iffy about it at first too, I watched the trailer a lot and I didn't like it, but then it just grew on me and I guess I got used to it. Gus' actor has a charm, I don't think he'll disappoint, but there were some quotes that I perfectly had in my head and the way he said it was so different and I just kinda broke. GUS IS PRECIOUS. I love him so much, I love this book a lot, but I also really hate it. I didn't wanna fall in love with Gus.
