Fastest way to make bells?

What's the fastest way you've found to make bells, for me it's to go to the island and fish and catch bugs for 30 mins to an hour and you can make like 400k bells from that

e: oops. thought this was acnh. the island is absolutely the fastest way to get money, I just hate having to carry up all the fish to retail.

Go to the island at night, have chopped down the trees and gotten rid of the flowers and bushes.
Then farm the rare bugs from the palm trees.

Completely cheeses the game but it's very effective

if you do this make sure to keep backup plants, or at least know that you can get fruits from the Tortimer island visits to repopulate your island
