I always find myself struggling to have enough nook miles to do what I want, even with tons of grinding. What’s the most efficient way to get nook miles? The Nook miles plus program?
Miles+ is definitely the way to go if you want to buy the Nook Shop decorative items or go on a bunch of island tours. The x2 and x5 bonuses at the start of the day are especially nice.
Timing. Time your daily activities specifically to whenever miles are rewarded for them. Don’t do them all at once on your own will. This way, you’ll stack up miles without you even knowing.
+1 to moon_child's recommendation. Since I started doing my tasks based on the miles plus awards, I have a ton of miles now. It's a little annoying because I would prefer to do things on my own schedule, but right now making miles is still very beneficial so it's worth it.
I agree. Before you start gathering resources, catching critters or talk to your neighbors, it's best to start the day by looking at the Nook Miles+ and do those first. It breaks routine, but you're getting those miles while doing your daily chores at the same time.
Fastest: Time-traveling and just collecting the daily 300 points from using the kiosk
Without TTing: Utilize the m+ ones that have bonuses (x2, x5). Look at what the milestone achieves are and work towards them (they give 1k, 2k, etc). The balloons right now were great for getting your balloon popping milestones done.
