Faster ways to get Public Works Projects?

yeah, the diving trick is the best way to do it. Basically the reason why it works is because it resets villagers dialogue, and the next villager you walk past will always ping you (unless they were the last villager to ping you before diving) be sure to fill your pockets with flowers or bells so they dont ask you to buy/trade/sell. I wanted to get a certain PWP from my uchi, so what i did was i trapped her with holes near the beach so she was the first person i saw haha.

Yeah, the villagers you have only talked to a couple times wont ping you. You don't need to be best friends, just talk to them a couple times a day for three days maybe and they should ping you.

Okay1 that explains it! Too bad I can't try it tonight because I can't TT until Windia gets another villager. But will update my progress. I'm desperate for the flower arch and trellis.

I agree about the diving trick.

But one picks up on more Public Works Projects if you really step up and get the ball rolling.

Right now, I'm using my fourth game cartridge of "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" for a town I don't intend to keep.

I have had built Yellow Benches and Streetlights to get numerous PWPs completed. And doing this allowed for the Perfect Town to come faster. But, also, it has encouraged villagers to ping my mayor for PWP suggestions. Typically the Police Station comes up really early. But, I also received suggestions for the Scarecrow and one of those "Illuminated" PWPs commonly suggested by Snooty villagers.

There's no one-and-only way to do this. A combination of both may be really effective.

But, again, I suggest just getting even the lower-cost PWPs built (repeated Yellow Benches and Streetlights are fine). This, I believe, encourages the villagers to ping the mayor with more PWP suggestions.
