I was wondering if you guys knew like any glitches to get bells or just good ways to get bells besides the island and the money rock, is there anything else?

Time travel a lot and collect interest on your account. Also, people here on TBT will pay crazy prices for hybrids, cedar saplings, bush starts, not for sale items, and villagers who are moving out of your town.

The stalk market is the best you can do if you want a "legitimate" way to get bells fast.

The best, fastest, and most fun way to earn bells is going to the island. You can go fishing, diving and get a lot of bells. :)

Either stalk market, buying turnips and selling them to reese for a high price or go to the island early and do heaps of fish in and bug hunting!

You could take advantage of the stalk market. Or what I do is I harvest my perfect fruit and store it then I go and sell in someone's town where that fruit isn't the native. Stalk market will get you a lot more bells but it's risky (finding good buying prices in a week).

The stalk market, bug hunting on the island, and perfect fruit farming are all decent ways to earn cash, but they're nowhere near being as effective as taking advantage of campers. (I'm not sure what the actual name for it is) It seems to be lesser known, but it's the best way to make heaps of bells.
First, you'll need to campsite reset until you have a lazy villager. It can work with other types, but lazy is the easiest bc you're guaranteed to win.
Okay so once you've got the lazy villager, talk to them until they ask you to play a game called 'Guess What I Ate.' I think that's what it's called at least, but I'm not totally sure, so don't quote me on that. Anyway, play it (it's super easy- you'll win every time), and they'll have to buy an item off of you. And you, being the affluent and greedy mayor you are, will have your pockets filled with either beetles from hunting on the island, or royal crowns. Oh man. Royal. Crowns. Normally they sell for 100k bells right? When you sell them to a villager, you'll get over a million bells each. I forgot the exact number for beetles, but I think it's something like going from 8k to 30k.
Now, go get rich and please love yourselves & don't sell your crowns to Reese.

The quickest ways I can think of is:
- Using the Stalk Market
I get ~8-11 mil when I sell my full locker of turnips for 450~600+. You can check out the Train Station part of the Forums to see if there are any users that have a high spike and are willing to let others come over and sell.
It takes ~30 minutes to sell a full locker, and ~15 minutes to buy the turnips from Joan (I usually push Joan near my house for convenience lol). Made ~100 mil within 11 weeks.

- Selling TBT
The rates are extremely high compared to when I first saw them go for in Dec 2013.
I'm guessing the current rate is anywhere from 6-8 mil per 100TBT.

In case you wanted to know about the bug hunting, if you catch only high-worth beetles on the island, they'll have to be beetles that spawn on palm trees. Also, a full island-storage full of beetles are worth about 300-350k per run without the bell ordinance, and about 400-450k with the ordinance. It is very time consuming.

If you go the easiest route of Time Traveling, you'll have to be sure that you don't care about the town's looks or villagers moving in or out. You can (recommended to) go with the beautiful town ordinance to make sure you don't wreck your town by making it polluted by time traveling. You can make 99k per character from interest by time traveling. You should have at least 100k when doing this, (if not, it'll just take a bit longer), time travel 12 years ahead and you'll get 99k. Give this to another character that you control and store the money in the ATM. Then travel 12 years again. Keep doing this until you have all 4 characters with at least 100k in their bank, and you can just keep traveling back and forth. This way you rack up 400k per 12 years. (As you get more money, the less years you'll need to travel)

If you decide to time travel, you'll need to know that 99k is the maximum interest you can receive at one time. That means, you'll have to log into your character every time you time travel (only your main character, you don't have to go on all 4 of them) in order to "reset" the interest capacity. In other words you can't fast forward 24 years to get 198k, you'll have to do it 12 years at a time.

Here are some better guides for the previous said methods--

- Plant tons of your native perfect fruit. Gather it every few days. Wait until somebody has that perfect fruit on Premium at their re tail, and then sell it. You can even get more if they have the super bells ordinance.
- Buy turnips, tons of them. Look for towns where Reese pays good for them and sell them.
- Maybe ores, and sell them when they're on premium.
