So yesterday me and Azila were looking for possible Forums to participate in our Circuit, and boy, was I suprised! I met our old TBT Rival, Rust, and found many other good players (Akira, BGMoney). I'll show you the Forum tomorrow, but for now...
After I found out that Rust was here at this Forum, I decided to take a look at their Power Rankings. Rust turned out to be the 2nd best player there, next to Jon (I think a Wolf main). I then lurked for their Tournament Sub-Forum, which so happend to have a Tournament that would begin 4 hours from my time! I saw that Rust had signed up and was like "It is time for revenge!" When the Tournament started, the host made a Single Elimination bracket, which scared me, because:
1. I didn't know how good their players were.
2. If I lost a Set, I would be out.
"As long as I don't get Rust until later, I'm good," I said to myself. My first match was a G&W that loved jumping in the Air a lot lol. I won 2-0 and moved on to BGMoney, who just so happened to be an Online Lucario Slayer! He's beaten all of our top Lucario Online players (except for one) and has never lost to a Lucario for more than a year. I didn't figure this out until after our Set, which I won 2-1. He was the ONLY player to beat me one game.
After our match, I had found out that Rust had lost early to a Falco, which shocked me and the other players a lot! My one reason for entering the Tournament was to play him again, but it looked like that wasn't going to happen soon enough! My next match was a good Mario player who I beat 2-0. I then moved on to Semi Finals, who was against a kind-of-campy Falco, but that didn't stop me from moving on! After winning 2-0, everyone was amazed that an unknown player (me) had made it to the Finals! In the Finals I played Akira, who was also one of their best players.
Next thing you know, TRELA wins 3-0! I had won the whole Tournament and got Season Points for the host's Circuit! I'm going to keep entering these Seasonal Tournaments along with yoll (that is, if you want to come)! I'll show you my TOIC 2010 plan tomorrow in yet ANOTHER Wall of Text lol. Traveling to other Forums is fun!
