I started New Leaf two days ago, and when Isabelle asked me if I'd prefer to try out fishing or bug catching first, I picked fishing. Ever since then, I've been catching fish non-stop; in fact, I caught three dorados today, and it isn't even noon yet. I tried out catching bugs, but I can't find anything. There's the abundance of horned dynastids and fruit beetles, but I haven't found a single rainbow stag in my three days of playing, and I've been playing a lot. Is there any particular reasoning behind my inability to find rare bugs and my ability to find a lot of rare fish? Thank you!
