I've played almost 400 hundred hours on mine, have not experienced drift but the rubber cover under the thumb section recently tore off the stick on its own. I don't know if that's happened to anyone else.
I've had mine for some time (lost count, but more than at least 3 months) and the most issues my lite has given me is an occasional input lag. I've played Mario Kart and Smash on it too which tend to wear out joycons faster and still nothing yet. Hopefully, it will remain that way too.
I have been playing everyday on my switch lite since April and I never have experienced any drift. After taking a look through this thread at some posts who say they had drift immediately, I'm counting my lucky stars. For a console that costs so much for what it is this shouldn't be happening on such a wide scale.
My mom has had a switch lite since a few days before the release of the game. She hasn't had any drift and has played a lot of ACNH and Farm Together. She really regrets not getting a regular switch just for the slightly larger screen size.
I do not have any drift yet either (I have a regular switch), but that is just luck of the draw.
I have had zero issues playing NH on the switch lite. Joycons are just fine and i've had it for 3 months. I would contact Nintendo and see if they can fix it.
i got my switch a little before my birthday in June, and i've relatively played it increasingly more as the months have gone by. my left joycon occasionally needs a bit more pressure to apply in the downward motion in order for it to process as 'normally' being held down, but other than that, i haven't experienced anything. as you stated in the original post, the joycon doesn't seem to be effected as much when i haven't touched the switch in a while.
it hasn't gotten to an annoying aspect of my gaming yet, luckily. maybe i'm just one of the lucky ones who's managed to get a little more life out of their joycon in comparison.
I got my switch lite back in June and haven't had any drifting issues as of yet. And I hope to never get them but seeing all the people who experience it, I'm a little nervous now. lol
My friend and I bought switch lites roughly around the same time in march and we have played the same amount of hours and for some reason her lite started having drift problems. I didn't know it could also happen to the lites but mine is thankfully still fine. Honestly its kinda stressful knowing your switch can randomly stop working properly.
Got my lite in April, very little issues in general, especially for NH. I do notice that responsiveness can get a tad laggy if I've been playing for 1.5-2+ hours, but I also feel like that may just be partly on me and my tired fingers.
