Was looking for a snooty villager and found Raymond 9 tickets in.
You can bet that I took that cute cat! I ended up buying a snooty from someone on Discord so I could ensure I got one that I liked (Greta, who once lived in my New Leaf town!)
Almost every time i've gone island-hopping, this is exactly what's happened. I keep finding villagers that other people want ('other people' meaning both friends of mine that I know personally, and higher tier villagers that I know strangers are probably looking for). It's taken a little over a month for me to finally stop cycling and have a lineup I'm content with, because every time I came across a villager I knew someone else might want, I'd grab them and then try to find them a home instead of focusing on the villagers I wanted for myself. lmao
yea, especially if I'm getting low on tickets I think twice about leaving a villager behind, because I don't know if it gets worse.
Yesterday I wrote a priority list with 6 villagers on it that I wanted, as well as another list with 4 villagers that I don't really want but are too expensive to pass on. In the end I got Canberra, a former dreamie, who wasn't on either of the lists. I still had lots of tickets left but I just couldn't leave her. She moved in today and I'm so happy I took her with me!
finally had a free plot, so i went to hunt for a cute smug (marshall, raymond, pietro, whoever rlly). on my 3rd ticket i found marina and i couldnt pass her up! i already had 2 normals so maybe im getting a little sick of the recycled dialogue and might move someone out BUT she is cute and i love her house .. !
when i have my next plot open my hunt will resume lol .. have quite the sum of tickets saved now
I was hunting down one of my dream villagers I didn't have yet at the time. I didn't find any, but I found Cyd. I was like: "Hmm, a new villager yes? I'll try him." I wish I skipped him over because he was annoying! His singing is atrocious. Worst of all, that's almost all he did was sing. I mean, makes sense for him being a Rock and Roll punk, but not for my standards.
Thank goodness he's finally gone.
I don’t go to islands looking for a specific villager because of the odds being extremely low. When I go there, I only have the goal to get the first villager of the personality I’m looking for that I don’t hate. Getting a dreamie is purely left to luck and an added bonus.
Oh yes I have yet to find any of my dream villagers such as Tia and Static but have found Stitches, Fang, Audie, and a few others while searching and I couldn't pass them up!!
i was on the hunt for any of my dream villagers and i ran into beau. i actually stopped and made him join, but then afterwards i just closed my game entirely as if i never asked beau to join
i had around 20 nmt left, like what if the next villager after beau is zucker? unfortunately that never happened and i ended up with no dreamies found from 60nmt haha
