Ever changed your mind about a villager?

I've done it so many times its bad and of course im thinking about doing it again have you guys ever thought "Hey! I like this villager he shall stay with me in my town forever!" How many times have you guys done it?

That's pretty much how I got all the villagers in my main town. The only one that was a "dreamie" is Hamphrey. The rest I came upon randomly and love them all dearly.

Edit: Boop. Forgot about Shep. He was also a "dreamie".

I have done that too many times now. At first glance, I ignore them if they do not appeal to me, but I later find myself extremely attached to said villager.

This is exactly what happened to me with Ken. He was a random move-in after I lost O'Hare (who is thankfully now in my second town from a very nice person on these forums) and I didn't like him at all. But then the more I talked to him, the more I grew attached to him and now he's one of my favorite villagers.

This happened with moe yesterday. I was going to let him go when he pinged and have punchy instead but I couldn't resist his face... It's so goofy and cute! Plus he's an original so that makes it more special

I can't even decide who gets to stay in my town forever - I just find them and love them. That's why I'm no good with choosing a select few dreamies.

This happened for me with Bianca, the peppy tiger, she is a starter villager in my town and at the beginning I thougt she is nice but sooner or later I`d let her move out, then I became really attached to her over time and I can?t let her go. Her house interior is very lovely with the kitchen island and the alpine wall and furniture. I enjoy visiting her so much everytime! My town wouldn`t be the same without her presence C:

Yeah all the time. Too many times I've let go of less popular villagers for dreamies that I ended up not even liking like Marina, Merengue, and Julian, and then I miss my other villagers :c

I have yes, when Rodney moved into my original town. I didn't like him at all but then I started to talk to him and get to know him and all of a sudden when he finally did ping I begged him to stay! That was the same with Astrid and Hugh too.

I picked Renee because she was in a giveaway and I needed to stop a random move in but I never want her to leave now!

I did it with Sparrow.

He requested the police station (finally, after all these years). I was so happy, so I let him stay, but I hated him after like 2 days pasted and made him move out.

Tex was a random move in when I was setting up my storage town in Summer 2013. I fell in luv and had to have him, and he moved into Cinnabar soon after. It was the same with Nibbles and Alice. Genji was a void move-in from a friend, and he's never left either! I love surprise dream villagers

Definitely for me! I thought I wanted to have Roscoe the horse in my town, but once I met him in my campsite, he scared me. (Is it just me?) Then I thought I wanted Static the squirrel, but then once he moved into my town, I changed my mind.

Now I'm iffy about Lolly the cat because I already have Coco the bunny who has a "normal" personality. And having more than one normal personality villager can get really repetitive and boring after a while for me. D:

Yes it's part of the reason i reset with all of my dreamies at the time as most of them i was getting sick of. Don't get me wrong i like knowing i accomplished all my dreamies but part of the fun of the game is getting new villagers and seeing old ones leave and i am debating if Papi and Tia will soon be put up for adoption/sold since i'm kinda getting bored of them even though they were the 8th/9th villagers in my town i intended to keep, plus part of me wishes to cycle for my Pietro back and cycling one at a time will be very slow/painful so then Julian would be replaced by Pietro if i have the motivation to cycle (I try not to TT unless it's for mail/a shop to reopen if i decide to play later), plus i'm not entirely sure how many more i will need to get him back *goes to check saved letters*

I get this a lot. Mostly it's smugs that end up disappointing me because I loved the pants off of Zell who was my first one, and subsequently had Julian, Marshal, Ed, Lopez and now Keaton and I just find all of them say things I already heard from Zell and none of them are as cute as he was (/is, because I still have him too. xD).

Though it's worked the other way too. I thought I'd hate Broccolo and Mathilda and I ended up really liking them, and kinda wish I had them back again. ~ Though I have Astrid now, who I'm enjoying.

My biggest turn around though has to be Marina. I was so excited to finally get my first octopus villager after years of playing AC, and I hated her and cycled her out within 3 weeks. I thought she looked awkward when walking, didn't like how pink she was, she moved into the middle of my front garden and killed a bunch of hybrids, and again I felt she was just parroting things I heard from Fauna.
