Ever accidentally give your villagers a wrapped present not meant for them?

Was walking around with four identically wrapped presents. I give Gayle her gumdrop dress, Ketchup her heart-shaped glasses, and then... I accidentally gave Merry a black skater helmet meant for Antonio She's walking around wearing this fancy black dress with pearls and a skater helmet!!

Yes, I accidentally gave Roald a tube top that was meant for Molly. Ever since, he won't stop wearing it. I just gave up at that point.

I gave Drago an extremely pink dress that I was meaning to give to Merry. He kinda rocked it pretty well for a while though, to be fair.

I have done it a few times, I suggest giving any villager you do that too more clothes. In this case, give her more hats, she is more likely to not wear it and drop it from her outfits all together! I did this with Reneigh, I gave her a space hoodie by accident so I just gave her more clothing, she never wears the space hoodie anymore which is nice.

lol i am so sorry but that sounds hilarious! Ok so i did not give Rosie a knit hat by accident but i thought it would look cute on her and i was sorta wrong. It covered her whole ears and kinda looked weird so i closed the game without saving and it was back in my pockets. I learned my lesson and started checking how things look on them when i visit harvey.

I haven’t done this yet thankfully but I take extra precautions. I either wrap the present last minute or I use different colored wrapping paper to color code them ie green/mint for Melba blue for Whitney yellow for Nan. So far this has worked because gifting the wrong thing is my worst fear

i try to only have one wrapped item on me at a time to avoid stuff like this c’: whenever i wrap presents, if i can’t give it to them at that moment (e.g. they’re asleep, i can’t find them, they already received a gift that day), i always drop the presents in front of their respective houses so that i don’t get confused ^_^

Boone had me take a present to Raymond and it was the instant muscles suit. Now he wears it constantly and it looks so weird. So it was delivered to the right person but he never should've sent him that shirt.
