I've never TT'ed, myself, what do you mean "check in with Harvey"?
I check to see what he is selling each day. Time travel does not damage the game at all.
Oh, I lose villagers and gain new villagers, but I don't care which villagers are in my town at any given time.

I see. I didn't think that TT'ing damaged the game. I just prefer not to because I'd rather have things happen in real time. Doesn't bother me if other people do it.
