Error Code 018-0512

I have had the game for a little over two weeks, and I only experienced this error code yesterday.
I have had people over before and I don't understand why its happening now...
I am on a college campus and connected to the college's wifi internet.

has anyone experienced the problem and fixed it? Does anyone know how to?

I have been looking for a solution on google and have had no luck.

Maybe a closed port or something, most likely there?s nothing you can do about it, only the people who have the administrator password can change it.
Or maybe they changed something in the settings, or it?s just an error that will go away next time they reset the net.

it could also be an update on your college server as most schools have blocks for P2P and I can imagine that AC:NL would look like a P2P from the servers point of view.

I would definitely find out who is in control of your schools system and ask some questions.
