So basically it prevents me from visiting any villages via internet connection. Visiting my friends' towns with local communication works just fine. It gives the error code upon trying to enter a faraway village. I have read nintendos instructions on how to fix it but nothing I've tried seems to work. 
This is really frustraing and takes away from the game.
