I'd say Beau. Only because i've actually had Beau in one of my towns and liked him, whereas I haven't really had a chance to experience Erik since I don't believe i've had him move in to any of my towns thus far or of what I remember. I don't really like his design neither, but i'm sure that'd probably change if I actually had him in game. His eyes are really weird in my opinion and they put me off quite a bit.
