I was surprised when i saw this wasn't a thread already.
Most shows that I watch I enjoy every episode, occasionally though I hate an episode with every fiber of my being.
For me It's an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine called "The swedes", it is meant to be a parody of how many Americans dislike the way the rest of the world does things; But It comes off as mean and abrasive to me, To the point that I skip over it whenever binging Nine-Nine.

Honourable mention is the last episode of The Good Place, it is an impeccable episode but it makes
me really sad and contemplate death

What is an episode of you favourite show that you hate?
i would love to know!

There's a Dallas episode that I always skip during my re-watches because it's basically a filler episode where almost nothing happens that drives the overall plot forward (which is rather unusual for a soap opera). It's just all about a hunting trip and it bores me to tears.

Personally I don't like episodes of shows (such as the Simpsons) where the whole episode is just looking back at the past episodes, (or a character's life).
i agree clip shows suck.

I really really hate the Futurama episode The Robot Devil’s Hands Are Idle Things. Every single thing in this episode is just bad. It was a very disappointing episode to be the then series finale, the original song is both terrible and annoying, and the plot was a mess and felt like it was extremely rushed.

I love Supernatural and I’m a big fan of Dean but the CGI flying fight with Lucifer in Season 13 Episode 23 is just so silly, I can’t help but laugh at how ridiculous it looks.

I really hated the Foxxy Davyback episodes in One Piece and all the filler episodes. The filler episodes aren’t even written by Oda (he probably did give the anime company permission to make them but that’s it), so the quality to me is obviously lacking. The Foxxy episodes were actually canon — since they are in the manga too, but I found it annoying. I did enjoy when they met Aokiji for the first time though :).

Canon episodes, I think Skypeia or Thriller Bark’s arcs were my least favorite. Both have great moments, but there were also plenty of moments where I wanted it to hurry up (the anime drags on some scenes really bad).

I mostly dislike any scene in a show where the main character gets treated poorly, when a normally likable main character is unlikable for one episode, or when the plot is just really bad.

i have one like that community s2 ep 14 when a VERY depressed character(if you get what i'm putting down) plays dnd with the group as an effort to stop him from.. you get the point. the episode has pierce hawthorne (irl really racist and later kicked off the show, his character in the show is pretty much the same) pick on him throughout and overall pierce is a terrible character

The last episode of game of thrones. I hated the entire episode. They could’ve ended that in so many other better ways than they did. I loved that series and they butchered the ending completely.

What do you have against Condoriano 😛 He's the best Straw Hat. We knew him so briefly.
ATLA: the great divide

Haha! Okay, I guess the G8 set of episodes wasn’t as bad as most of the fillers; I just wasn’t as impressed as other people that I’ve talked to were of the episodes lol.

Ahaha sorry I was just teasing! I get it. I can't really remember a lot of the filler. I do remember enjoying the base one. Naruto filler is horrible though. Some of it just had to be straight up fever-dreams they had 😅

I know :D; nothing to be sorry about. I thought you were funny. I never could get into the Naruto anime (I read the manga), but I heard those were the worst of the Big Three (One Piece, Bleach, and Naruto) 😅.

“The Splinter” from SpongeBob SquarePants. I watched the episode once during a marathon, and never wanted to see it again. It was gross-out humor at its worst and painfully unfunny, and I’m not joking around when I say that. I felt very uncomfortable watching it.

Epsiodes where the main characters go and buy a new couch, car or something expensive but then go and try to reclaim that old thing they decided to replace because it was "semimetal and had memories with them" and stuff. Like, bruh, your car, couch or whatever is old and seriously needs to be replaced. Don't go back and keep your new stuff, you can create new memories.

Then there's episodes where the main character or a side character gets bullied or needlessly verbally abused by someone or a group of family members for no reason other than 'plot'. I'm looking at you, Loud House and that one episode of Spongebob with Gary trying to protect his master from whatever that creature was and was being blamed for what the creature was trying to do to Spongebob.

the incredible Flash speedforce lightsaber disaster, because the moment it happens you can't take either villain involved seriously. though it is pretty funny seeing grant gustins "guys what are we doing" body language
