I'm not a huge fan of the CoD series. So can someone please take the time to tell me why Modern Warfare 2 is the best game ever. Because that's how some people are making it sound like it is.

Because you kill virtual people to make yourself feel invinsible then you think this is what RL is like so you go out to a war zone to kill for your country and find that unlike the game, there are no Respawn points or Health packs in RL

I wouldn't call it the best game ever, but it's a good game. Plot twists, guns, shooting, Special Ops, those kind of things make it good. The only problem is that at some points in the game you might need to know some things from CoD4 to fill in some blanks.

It's one of those extremly over hyped ones, for about 2 years now.
Don't get me wrong, it seems a good game and I enjoyed CoD4. I'll pick it up eventually, but I honestly don't see it as the best game ever.

I havent got either of them, Resident evil is enough for me.

Neither am I, but judging from my friends' faces when they play, I'm guessing that killing someone in first person view gives them this...this adrenaline rush because shooting someone in first person view gives this unique feeling of immersion. They can kill people, get points for it and not get punished. If my 16 - 17 year old friends look like that when they play, imagine the 10 - 14 year olds in Live.

So i figured i should join the army! Its just like FPS just with better graphics!...But what if i get Lag out there? I'LL BE DEAD! And i even heard theres no Respawn points in Rl!

They're aren't Health packs in Cod :U If you're going to try and bash something make sure you know what you're talking about.

Cod MW2 IS a great game...but its not game of the year or the best game of all time. :U

In a nutshell, Call of Duty is similar to Madden. They both started out good, but then they released one game every year, and eventually turned into a pile of crap.


However, MW2 does have a nice campaign. I recommend just pirating it or watching a playthrough on youtube or something. If you want good multiplayer, just play the first Modern Warfare or wait for Bad Company 2.

I think Uncharted 2 has that title for now xd
