so i'm restarting my town, but i don't want to lose my beau. :< it's been tricky to find someone to hold for me, though, so i was wondering if having the emulator on your laptop was like having a second cartridge and 3ds console -- in that, i could travel between towns with my active character and essentially hold beau for myself.
from someone who has used the emulator: can you visit other towns? can players come visit your town? do you even have a friend code that allows that to happen?

There is no 3ds emulator..at least to my knowledge. If you look at those YouTube videos in the comments people say it's all fake and just a scam. But if you go to the villager trading plaza I believe there is a thread called hold my villager where someone can help you ^-^
