Alright here is the situation: I recently started looking at Tumblr QR codes and different blogs that post about ACNL. I've been mulling this over for a about a day and a half, and I think... I want to restart my town... The reason you might ask? My eyes. I am SO jealous of these eyes! http://www.jvgs.net/acnlfaces/girl-aaa.jpg And yes, my eyes aren't even that bad, they are like my second favorite. I know, I know, "Lauren?! You're resetting over JUST your eyes?!" Yes and no. I'm mostly resetting because of that, but I also just want st start fresh. I just ACNL in 2014 and have had the same town, character and everything for 2 years!

Want to enter the giveaway? PLEASEEEE read everything above and tell me what you think of this decision, also, town names would be helpful, and TBT donations would be GREATLY appreciated, I want to get as many IGB as possible so I can get my stuff back as soon as possible. I will not have the giveaway today. Maybe sometime this week or next week, I will VM all who enter to let you when I giveaway 99% of my stuff. (Note: most of my stuff is girl stuff.) <3

Extra details: In addition to the stuff I'm giving away that I'm leaving by the train station, please feel free to take fruit directly from the trees around my town, you can take flowers near the Train Station, but one request, PLEASE do not run or trample my town. I want to remember GreenBay as a beautiful place. EVERYTHING MUST GOOOOOOO! TAKE AS MUCH AS YOU WANT OR NEED!!! Once done, feel free to stick around, explore, and talk to me!

I don't know what to think of this. I reset my town once in 2014, and I did it again and again. I have had the same town since December, and I'm glad I reset my town now, but I hated my decision up until just recently. I think if you want different eyes, you should go for it. <3
 
i think you should wait on it for a little bit longer, for about a month i had wanted to reset my town but then i just changed my paths and redid the layout for my town and it made me feel better, you can always cover your eyes if you really feel that bad about them, like with sunglasses or something
for a town name, you could do something like Wilt or something depending on your town theme (like if its zen do something more subtle)
 
Thanks for your support! I will VM you when I've mentally prepared myself. And got any ideas for a new town name? I don't think I will keep GreenBay because I'm trying to move on. (Obviously keeping Lauren as my name)

Honestly? I had this same problem too for forever haha :blush: I was thinking of resetting too, but I had lots of things in my game that I COULDN'T lose. I couldn't let anyone hold them for me, because I had too much stuff. I didn't want to waste anyone's time either, so I just kind of got over it. But you'd also like to fresh as well, so I'm not sure what to say about this. If you're gonna reset and then buy all your stuff again, you should just let someone else hold them for you with lots of land to save the trouble. Good luck with everything though! For new town names, maybe something like Rosewood? A lot of people use that as their town name and I like the sound of it too :blush:

Don't worry, I think it's perfectly acceptable. I restarted my town on the 13th and the town is just starting to come together. I wanted no regrets, I wanted my town to be the way I wanted. And the same should go for your character. If you feel that strongly about it, go for it. I'll be vacationing all next week, but I'll see if I can get a moment to join in on this giveaway. :3 I'm not really sure about town names, as everyone has different thoughts or ideas for their town and I don't want to give you something you don't like. ^^' but I'd be happy to help with tbt or igb donations or holding items for you or whatever you need help with, if you do.
 
If you're planning to get the same items again then maybe you can have someone hold them for you and you could retrieve them to you once you've restarted ^^

Yes of course. I already have someone that can take most of my items. I'm only holding onto a few things. I really want to start fresh.
 
One name I really like, if I were to give you one, is "Shissou", it means "sprint" or "dash". You could make up a cool story and say you sprint for the top. Or it just sounds cool. x3 Idk. Sorry for being useless. ^^'

"Ohana" is another name, that's Hawaiian for "family". Your town is a big family.

Awesome! I totally appreciate that. The more town name suggestions, the better. Honestly, I have no imagination, I was gonna name my town, "Townville" no joke, from PowerPuff Girls. XD
 
Very funny. x3 but you wouldn't be able to name your town that anyway, as Townsville is 10 letters and even if you remove the 's', it's still one letter over the 8 character limit. :c
