Splatoon Embarrassing Splats

You know, the kind that make you go "why. I can't believe I did that. Also, WHY."

For example:
Getting splatted by a sprinkler. Twice.

On the plus side, I did kill someone by throwing a Splash Wall at them. Smacked them in the face before it landed .

I've had so many embarrassing splats I try to block them out of my memory. From falling into water from inkzooka knockback to death by sprinkler it's pretty bad lmao

I recently started giving attention to the oft neglected (even amongst brush users) Inkbrush Nouveau, so the embarrassing deaths for me recently often had to do with my unfamiliarity with the Bubble, and how apparently easy it is for people to push you off the map, especially when using a melee weapon.

When a battle started on Walleye and I jumped and moved backward a bit to cover the ink around the spawn point, I ended up falling off the map.

Everyone on my team saw.

I always embarrass myself at least once every time I play, hahaha. The most embarrassments happen in Moray Towers when I try to hijack into the enemy turf area by shooting at the walls and when I go to swim I slide off and fall into the water. It happens when an enemy tries to attack me, too.

There was a time in Arowana Mall when I tried to sneak in to splat the charger who's standing in the side near a grate. I've taken her/him out successfully with my .96 gal then I go into squid mode not realizing that I'm still standing on the grate, so yeah you guess it, I fell into the water next XD I could imagine her/his reaction (the one I splatted) upon seeing me in the camera haha. I remember also being splatted with sprinkler once or twice in Turf War.

Oh gods, falling off the map.

Reminds me of other embarrassing thing: Falling off the Tower in Tower Control. With someone watching. Into the abyss or into water, equally embarrassing.

And man, falling right after splatting someone is the worst! Someone is watching. How could that slip my mind. My condolences.

Just had another one of those newb-with-Bubbles moments. XD Whoever Miss Hero Roller Replica was who I played a few turf wars matches against was super jumping and knew I had Bubble, so swung at me once to knock me off that center platform in Arowana Mall. Which was a great reminder that turf wars doesn't have those extra platforms hanging off the edges of the center area.

Falling off the map right after sniping someone.
And they see me on the camera and I just hate myself.
Also being an E-Liter user, running out of ink is a huge problem even with special gear. I usually use bombs for close range, and I can only use so many and I usually run out at just the wrong time. It's so frustrating.
And when you're a sniper, getting sniped by another sniper is just plain horrible.

Had another Walleye incident yesterday. I had encountered a Slosher user at the end of our team's narrow 'hallway' to the right of the map and we were both trying to splat each other while keeping our distance. Neither of us were making contact, so I slowly moved forward and managed to land some hits on them. Right before they exploded, they threw a Burst Bomb at me. I had apparently jumped in the air just as it hit and was knocked over the railing... and tumbled off the map.

The Slosher must have felt so satisfied.

some stages are worse than others for me.

back when hammerhead bridge came around, I tried jumping from a side walkway onto the main path below the grating. I fell to my demise and I'm pretty sure at least 1 teammate saw me ;_;

I don't know how many times I've messed up and fallen through the grating in bluefin depot, but yeah that's the worst stage for me (currently)

Holy crap! I'd say that's more impressive than embarrassing. People that hit good burst bombs are kind of terrifying.

I know exactly where you mean, because did it a few times in the same day, in the same spot...

One time on Moray Towers I pushed my teammate off the map while they were trying to snipe someone and I followed them and we both got splat because of me.

I think it's usually for me just falling off of stages. I always end up falling off of the most ridiculous part of the stage and I sit there and just SIGH at myself for managing to do something so ridiculous. I think someone already mentioned this but, one thing I always manage to do on Moray Towers is when I splat some ink onto one of the walls to climb up into the enemy base, and I end up somehow slipping and falling into the abyss. So painful.

Reminds me when my brother bumper rolled another roller off of Walleye Warehouse. And that roller had been making a point of squidbagging my brother beforehand. He stopped squidbagging after that.
