so, there's this one spot in my town. Nobody lives there. A long time ago, Lionel (ugh) lived there and I built a path to his house. He moves away, now I have this path leading to nowhere. Moe moves in this spot, he leaves. Pango moves in this spot, she also leaves.

So since I have that path leading down there, I always make villagers move there. But the thing is, for Pango and Wolfgang (the new villager moving into the spot), I plot reset. I was like "omg this is gonna take FOREVER to get them in the right spot!!"

But, both of them, moved in right on the perfect place, no resetting required. I don't get why everyone has villagers that take 6 hours to move in the right spot, mine move in first try. *shrugs* I'm pretty sure it's because I have PwPs in all the good places, though. Idk. xD I'm not complaining or anything, but wowie. Anyway, how long did it take for your villagers to get in the right darn space?

I don't really believe in 'right spaces' because I know its all random and what not. I wish you could choose these kinds of things, even turn down villagers on the days they want to move in.
I like where all of my houses are placed- there is one however that COULD live in a better spot.

it took me 2hrs yesterday to plot erik in the right spot, but that's only bc he had no wiggle room. I have all my villagers lined up on the bottom half of my town and in order to fit my last 2 dreamies after erik, erik needed to plot in the right spot. took me 40plot resets lol.

I don't know if this is actually true, but I've noticed that there are certain spots that the game seems to "want" to put a house. So there can be empty space all over there town, but a plot will just keep appearing in relatively the same spot.

When you want to put a villager where the game doesn't want to put a villager, that's when it takes hours to plot set. @_@
My guess is that the Lionel/Pango/Wolfgang spot is one of those spots that the game just wants to stick a house.
Again, I don't know if this is true, just something I noticed...

:D

Now that was lucky ! aha.

I plot reset twice for Roscoe, then accidentally went in as mayor and thought heyho that'll have to do, and he'd plonked is house right next to the campsite ughr. So yes, probably should try more than 2 times to get a good spot..

Well, if you have got PWP's blocking off the areas you don't want them moving into then that would explain it. :)

I normally plot reset for specific places.. Erik took an hour.. Joey took an hour, Stitches took 2 hours.. Boomer took 8 hours and still didn't go where I wanted him.. And Tank/Poncho took about half an hour

So you're bit of a jammy sod really :p .. But hey.. I'd rather spend the time plot resetting than have them move wherever they want

In my last town, I had a verrrry specific place I wanted Agnes to move into, and it took her 24 freaking hours to do it. I was so fed up with her haha. Other than that, I've had pretty good luck as well! And I don't even have any PWPs yet except for the campsite and caf?.
