Just out of curiosity, which one do you have and which one do you like the most? After visiting hundreds of dream towns, I can see that they both have pros & cons depending on layouts and overall space for PwPs.

Personally, I can't even decide which one I like more. I feel like there might be more freedom with westbound beaches since generally, the shopping/plaza areas are usually at the top of the map or somewhere in the middle that's out of the way, but the eastern beaches have more character & the cliffs stand out more, in my opinion.

What do you think? (:

I have an eastern beach in my current town. I think the museum looks a little better on the right (like my old town), but other than that, I'm pretty satisfied with this set-up.

I have a West beach, it worked out well as a sort of express route around the town because there is a ramp at the bottom-center of the town and then one at the Northwest spot so I could use the entire south and west beaches to avoid the entire center of the village which is hybrids and pwps made into a garden + a Tokyo Tower and crap.

I love the left side. I think that town's look prettier if its on the left side.

I've got one of each and I like them both lol.
Took me a while to remember that they were different though, I kept going the wrong way when I swapped over to play in the second town!

I have Eastern beaches in both of my towns I believe. They're both on the same side in my two towns anyway, but I have two beaches technically in both towns. Or like the two beaches with ramps to each. No secret beaches you have to swim to.

I have a western beach and was not aware it could be on the other side until I visited a friends town for the first time and she told me to meet her in her museum. I personally prefer the left because i was unaware of it being possible on both sides.

I have it on the eastern side. In my old town I had it on the west.. I think I liked it on the left better for some reason xD. Maybe cuz I had museum on the right and I prefered it on the right..

I prefer to have the beach on the western side because it somehow feels nice, I can?t really explain. Also the mueum is on the right side in mainstreet, and it looks way better.

I have an eastern coastline. I think it's because I live in a state on the east coast but for me, a coast on the western side just feels weird.

I like it on the right, bc I like my museum to be on the left - otherwise I wouldn't really mind ^.^ (I'm so fussy about the museum tho!)

For me, west beach is nicer because that means the museum would be on the right side (along the shops I often go to) which is more convenient. :)

I take whatever I get, it doesn't matter to me at all. The only thing I'm not keen on is a large private beach, mainly because I'm lazy ^_^

I have a western beach, and for reasons unknown to even myself I prefer that slightly more than an eastern beach.

My side beach is on the left (West). I don't have a strong preference, but I guess I like mine a little more because it's what I'm used to. Both of my beaches are very nice, actually. The West beach is medium in length. The South beach is a little bit longer. Re-Tail is near that area. In fact, you walk straight from Re-Tail to the beach ramp to the dock. How lucky am I to be able to run in a straight line from Re-Tail to the dock?

Interesting! I never thought of it like that or well paid attention to that either! I have always liked the westbound beach <:) Not quite sure why!

I've always had a western beach, so I can't really say which I prefer. Even visiting dream towns with eastern beaches, it's hard to imagine playing in a town with one.
