Easiest way to get Fortune Tellers shop?

I swear I've had my fortune told so many times, but I still don't have the fortune tellers shop! Is there an easy method to get it? Like can I make a 2nd character, have my fortune told then delete that character & repeat? Or can I go to another persons town and get my fortune told?

I feel your struggle. I have never been able to get this. When my town was pretty much all landscapes and had all other main shop areas unlocked, I was still missing this. Online it says 20 times and that you can use the other characters to unlock as well...but I dunno. I feel like I’ve gone soooo many time.

same its the only shop that I still havent unlocked!

All i can say is keep TT
and also when the fortune teller is in the plaza, get your fortune told on your mayor and on your other profiles which are the residents. Thats how i get the shop fast for my towns in the pass.

just keep TT again and repeat the things i told u to do over again on everyday when the fortune teller comes in the plaza and when you visited enough to get your fortune told, she will tell you about moving a shop in your town.

Both methods you named work. You can visit someone's Katrina when they have her tent at plaza and it counts up to your goal faster. Though, I'm not sure about the other, if deleting the character after getting fortune telling works.

I just used used all my four characters to get fortunes every time she showed up in my town.
It felt like it took a relatively normal time, but it was definitely my last main street building by some time.

You can visit someone elses town that has Katrina in their town or they have the Shop.
