While most of what you said is true, we do need to keep the money for our own country's problems, but you can't just say it's their own fault that they live on top of a plate. You think people in California just say, "Hey, why don't we move right to where the North American plate meets the Juan de Faca plate, and hope we don't get hit by an earthquake!". You can't expect the people that live there to know that they live right where the North American plate meets the Caribbean plate. The country is already in poverty, so they're more than likely not going to know these things.Mr_Hobo said:It is there fault that they are living on top of a plate. Now I do feel sorry for them though for suffering but we can't help everyone because we still the billions and billions of dollars to help the economy and other crisis. But if you haven't noticed this is there second most damage earthquake since 200 years. Trust me, there is going to be a big aftershock too.Zero_13 said:I live just an island away from them.. And yeah its pretty horrible, those could have been us puertoricans. We here in Puerto Rico are gathering everything we can to help them, since they are our neighbors, im sure the whole World is doing the same. I actually volunteered to go help out there, but I don't think i can go since college starts soon and i haven't received any call yet.
Still, Haiti is one of the poorest countries in America, and it has always needed help.. The World only remembered about them when an Earthquake killed so many people there.. Shame on everyone..
