Giveaway Duplication Clarification

This isn't Re-tail related exactly, but since all the PMs and messages I've received stem from this forum I'm posting this here.

People need to pull out either a dictionary or a thesaurus. When I say I have DUPLICATES of something, to sum it up for you it means I have multiple of the same item. Not that I DUPLICATE the items themselves. I didn't even know that was possible. Not once have I used the word as a verb.

I really don't think I should have to change my vocabulary because people can't differentiate between the two.
Just throwin that out there so ppl stop bothering me about it.

This happens to so many TBT members it's unbelievable, even me once.

People on TBT get confused easily, it's annoying sometimes*.*


TBT members just hate the living kawaii out of "dupers" it's like a natural TBT reaction when they probably dupe themselves, personally I think duping is cheating but if people are duping for themselves it's perfectly fine as its their own game, I think if people give out duped items it's fine as long as they don't charge, but if they sell the duped items... well that's a whole different story.


Well I know you'll probably will still get messages because not everyone who bothered you will see this, but I hope the majority of those people will stop harassing you.

Just use the word 'multiples'. Because duping is banned on this forum, using the word duplicate will cause a lot of confusion and it is easier for everyone if it's clear from the start. Not everyone will see this post, and you will most likely continue to receive messages about it.

I've literally had to change my wording in all my trading threads just to avoid this exact situation -_-

Ironically, it's people who speak English as a second language that understand this better XD

I think the biggest issue is that "duping" is banned on the forum, at least publicly because a lot of people view it as cheating, and it can massively lower the market on desireable items.

They'll probably continue to send you messages, but, as long as the admins know the difference between what people think you meant, and what you actually meant, its all good. Don't even sweat it n.n

Honestly I think a lot of people on these forms are too touchy and rude. I'm not sure if its an age thing or what but it drives me crazy! I'm glad you're sticking up for yourself!

This....since I was one of the people that got confused with your wording OP, I do not like to hear that I basically "don't understand the English language" because I was mistaken..
