Duke Nukem: Forever

Well who'd've thought that after 15 long years, several engine changes, 100 fake screenshots, and a lawsuit or two later Duke Nukem: Forever is finally going to be released. (As of this posting it's to be released June 10th 2011).

Honestly I've lost a fair amount of interest since 3dRealms dropped the proverbial ball and got their gonads sued off but I'm absolutely filled with joy that Gearbox (The folks who created the best game ever(Borderlands)) have not only taken up the project but have set a release date. (For the second or third time.)

So yes, this is the obligatory cuss and discuss thread for DK:F but I'm curious to see exactly how many of you kids are remotely interested in this basically dead series which is ultimately gonna be rounded out with an utterly generic, brown first person shooting game.
I personally want to see Gearbox work on Borderlands 2 rather than this forgotten series but what the hell I'm sure someone's bound to be excited about it and it is, in retrospect, good that Gearbox is finally shooting this proverbial wounded buffalo.

Please discuss said wounded buffalo in this thread.

The novelty that it's finally coming out. It's just another Over the top shooter, with not much to distinguish it from others now adays. IMO

Duke Nukem was a great series but again, 3dRealms basically killed the series by getting paid to sit on their butts and do nothing.

Well it was delayed again, after being picked up. From May to June.

On that note, the NA Release date for the game is June 14th, Int. is the 10th and a demo will be available to preorderers on the 3rd.
