I've noticed that when Quillson carries his fishing pole, he impales himself with it.

Do you know if any other species has issues issues with things such as this?

I know gorrilas, although actually only taking up the size of 1 square, take up more so their arms clip through walls and stuff like that.
 
I'm pretty sure all the small and large villagers have clipping issues. I have a video of a wolf ( I think) and an eagle taking to each other and their heads are clipping.

The "medium" villagers have less of an issue like the rabbits, dogs, or deer although the antlers might be an issue sometimes.

Eagles have this issue too, especially when they look straight up and their feathers clip right through their body. I'm not bothered about that, though. This was also the case in New Leaf and perhaps earlier games.
