Dreams you have while you sleep

I took a dream interpretations class my freshman year of college
and one theory for recurring dreams is that there's some problem that you're not facing or something, especially if you're running away from something in the dream (you're "running away" from your problems).
I interpreted my dreams a lot after taking that class using dreammoods.com and the interpretations were usually pretty accurate for a while :3
What you do with dream moods is you'll type in the images that really stuck out in your dream (like a cat or certain colors or something like that) and it'll tell you what they might mean. It helps to try and apply it to things that have been happening in your waking life 'n stuff, and interpreting might make hidden issues come to light
Interpreting dreams is fun :3

I used to do dream interpretation as well. Dreamoods was generally where I went, but I also had a book with a more in depth description of some of them. But interpreting my dreams every night kind of started taking the fun out of it.

Since I don't remember my dreams on a daily basis, I didn't stop until this year :P and I mostly only interpret them when I have a particularly interesting dream that brought up strong emotions or something like that.

I always have a hard time remembering my dreams - all I can really recall about my dreams for the past few nights is that they've all been about college. I'm on break now and am not particularly excited about going back to school soon.

A couple of nights ago I had a dream where I went back in time to the 90's and introduced myself to my family. Was actually very cool. Everyone was happy to see me and my parents were so young omg

Well, since I played Zelda: Skyward Sword for ten hours straight the other day, I had one of those dreams where you still feel like you're playing the game. I hate those dreams because I feel like I need to control the dream game and it prevents me from having a good night's sleep. -.-

I have those dreams too! They suck because I can never fall asleep properly. It usually happens when I'm sick and I can't keep my mind of things and just relax.

I had a dream last night. I was in a store, like Wal-Mart or something. And this employee guy was helping me out and getting me the video game I wanted, which turned out to be some Animal Crossing game, that came after City Folk, but was before New Leaf (obviously it doesn't exist). It was called Animal Crossing 3DS. So we go to the cash register and somehow without me noticing he rang up all these extra items I didn't want and the then total came out to be like $200 dollars. Then I noticed all the little stupid crap he put in and I was like what the heck. Then I had to beat him up and I went to go complain to a black lady employee and she was just like "uh-huh".

So I'm sick and I took a nap this afternoon and I had a dream I was an octopus cadet in the octopus king's underwater castle. Everything was blue.

I have the same dream pretty much every night.

I'm in a misty room. It's humid, difficult to breath. I never remember any of the events that lead me to the room, I just find myself inside. There's a door, cracked open just a sliver. The blue ambiance coming from the other side makes the foggy air look cold, though I can hardly breath through the humidity. Through the door, I can hear a humming. An irregular clicking sound. The type of clicking you'd expect some kind of intelligent insect alien race to make. My entire body dripping with sweat, my t-shirt sticking to my back, I push the door open.

I put my arms in front of my face, shielding my eyes from the bright blue light. Once I adjust to the light, there it is, crouched onto my desk chair. The clicking, the tapping, all the humming, it's not some alien life form. It's my cousin, completely naked, typing out a complete anthology of X-rated Family Guy fan-fiction.

Last night I dreamed that I was my animal crossing character.
I saw a balloon floating around so I went to pull out my slingshot by cycling through my items (like you can do in city folk) but I managed to pass up the slingshot and pull out all my other items, including a golden harp thing and a cape (which appeared on my back).... then after a while, as if it had pity on me, the balloon floated to the ground, where I discovered that there was a picture of one of the able sisters printed on the balloon and a tag on the present saying "to: boyfriend from: Mabel"

This is turning into my dream journal, but IDGAF.

But last night, I dreamed that me playing Mario Kart on the Gamecube was the only way to cure the prince's cancer and wake him up. At some point I bought all the Percy Jackson movies as well.

Still living in Seattle, switched majors to English (which is the third least useful degree, right next to philosophy and film!), internship with PBS just ended.

Damn, when I put it into writing like it looks depressing. It seems like that list should be longer!

What's new with you, man? I think I last spoke with many of you... around a year ago?

Dang the problem with dreams is that most dreams you completely forget within an hour of waking up.

I dreamt I was at a Foo Fighters concert with the most punk rock kid I know.

my dreams are usually silent film kind with ambience, but i did have a dream once where i was bitten by a dog, i felt the pain inside my body.

My dreams are so weird to me. I'll have a dream when I'm younger and then when I'm older the dream will finish itself. Or I have a series of dreams that are like "episodes", its crazy.

But I always have dreams where I get behind the wheel of a car and I don't remember how to drive but I drive anyway and it's usually really scary and I wake up afraid to drive.
