Alas I'm thinking Deidre really has to go, her time has been long and full of ups and downs but her rude comments have really turned me off her! Has this happened to you before? I really did think she was going to be a permanent but I'm afraid my disdain for her is beyond the point of no return!

Haha I have Deirdre too. Sounds like she and I have the same feelings towards Gracie.

I used to be disappointed when I found a really cute villager that was a jock because I always disliked that personality. I love Rudy, Teddy and Poncho, but I'd rather not hear about their muscles. I'm warming up to the jocks though.

I've heard theories about uchis coming from poor backgrounds, so, you know, it might totally be intimidating. Kinda like that fancy dining room my grandparents had with all the heirloom glass and china and silver...I was always terrified that I'd break something in there. After all, she knows she can't replace it if she breaks something~

As far as "rich show off" goes, uchis are blunt. They're the kind of people who don't take time to filter their commentary to politick with the neighbours. It doesn't mean it's a criticism; it just means that she blurted out her gut reaction. And they're the big sister who's totally gonna tease you about your [insert item], but still is affectionate about it. Everyone has their own tastes, but I think that utter honesty is pretty bold and brave and respectable~ Another facet is that saying things like that is often a method people use to disguise their own nerves or surprise, to help get a handle on themselves.

Tbh I take it as salt... it's not really rude unless you take it out of context. Deirdre has said that to me before... I took it as teasing me about having so much nice stuff...

I mostly dont like the snooty villagers most of the time. I think its good to have at least one of each personality type in my town though. It gives my town more variety. I really like the lazy and cranky villagers though. Even though the cranky villagers can be really mean i have found that once you become their friend that they become nicer to you. They always say to me that i am their best friend or their only friend. I feel like once they are your friend, they really mean it in comparison to other villager personality types. I just love the cranky villagers!

I love Deirdre! Coincidentally, I'm trying to cycle to get her back into my town since she moved out back in May. :c Uchi villagers do tend to be sassy, but I really like their personality!

None of my dreamies have intolerable personalities (thankfully), but I really can't stand the jock villagers as a whole. Idk

Having two peppies in my town is starting to get to me as well, and I think Rosie's peppy personality is wearing on me a lot more than Ruby's is. Why? No idea. I guess she just comes off as a bit more annoying and rude compared to Ruby. Rosie was my first dreamie so I don't WANT to feel that way, but who knows.

I agree. I read the comment and I didn't find it rude. Just silly. I have thicker skin tho. However to answer the op's question it is sad and very annoying to have a villager you love with a conflicting personality.

tbh i actually like the uchi personality lol those rude and sometimes sassy dialogues are actually fun hahah

oh and.. genji may be my ultimate fav villager ever but i dont really like the jock personality.. like... its fine with me but idk.. when they talk about muscles and abs.. its just.. ehh *shrugs* and genji's appearance doesnt even suit the jock personality T__T he looks better as a smug lmao

buuuut genji's still my #1 >:^)

Well Ribbot was a Jock although I felt like that didn't really suit him, and Jock dialogue is eh when they talk about working out or the gym or whatever. I feel like I would have preferred him if he were smug or lazy but I didn't really mind it too much since he and his house were awesome.

flo wasn't a dreamie of mine but part of why i let her go was because she was kind of rude ):< uchis can be super nice but they are kind of rude, especially if you aren't best friends with them imo

i didn't have dreamies when i was playing city folk but i was really happy with my villagers then! bUT miranda (who's snooty) made me so angry at times that if she had asked to move i would have told her to just leave. lol. i'm glad i didn't make her leave because i love miranda and it's nice to go into my town again and see her!! :>

Yes, this happened with Frita. I've had good experiences with such personalities before but Frita is just... I don't know.. Boring? Her comments were ok at first but now they are just boring. They aren't rude or anything, just blah. So I might be letting her go soon, and see if I can find another one.

Hahaha guys my feelings weren't really hurt by what Deidre said I do have thicker skin than being genuinely insulted by my AC villagers (unless they're my bff and ask to move, diff story entirely hahaha) but I really am sick of her unfortunately
