Well, I got my Hopper Card, and on my very first visit to an island after building the building for Residential Services, as well as my first visit on this save....I found Octavian, who I was planning to get before getting my Hopper card. I moved him in and have a question. Should I keep him? I REALLY like him as my favorite of the three Octopi, and this will allow me to trade Marina for Ankha. However, I am having trouble deciding what to do about having found Octavian. I am getting Ken's card, and I don't want it to go to waste. So which of these should I do.

Don't get an extra female, and get Ken as a second extra male
Ditch Octavian and get Ken
Keep Octavian and don't get Ken (and instead get him in New Leaf)

Do what will make you enjoy the game the most!
And if you can’t decide, then hold off on the Amiibo villager for now until the glitches are fixed or until you get bored of your current villagers. You know you have Ken whenever you want to bring him in.
