Marshal and Poppy.
Blair and Marshal are next door neighbors and she visits him sometimes. I think the contrast in their colors is cute, too XD
Chief and Sky are also neighbors and she is always asking me to catch her things like fish or change her catchphrase because of him.

In my town, I've always pictured Hugh and Mint together. They were both starters and spend a lot of time visiting each other, talking about each other or just strolling around town together.
I also thought Nana and Coach made a cute couple when they were both in my town. Nana seemed to have a crush on Coach, always asking about him, sending him gifts and requesting that I bring him to her house. But Coach was kind of oblivious to the whole thing. After they both moved out, I saw them hanging out together on Main Street a few times and I like to imagine that they finally got together.

I saw Eunice and Pietro having a conversation. I snooped. Pietro was talking and then Eunice interrupted him by sneezing, saying she was just chilly. Pietro said he was worried she'd get a cold. He offered her his jacket. Eunice almost said yes but then immediately stopped and denied it, saying he was sweet, but she didn't need it.

In my town that would be Tank and Merengue. They hang out together, and very often if a villager pings me to take a present to someone, it's one of these two trying to give something to the other. Although it feels sorta like Merengue has a crush and Tank is oblivious to it.
A lot of my villagers seem to like to be around someone in particular (Ankha and Tabby are besties apparently... for some reason; Vesta and Merengue share books and recipes all the time), but Tank/Merengue is the only pair out of my current population that I could see as romantic.

I have two main couples in my town
1. Keaton and Mira - Keaton gave Mira the same T-Shirt he was wearing and now they have matching T-Shirt
2. Cube and Agent S - I was talking to Cube and he was sad that he couldn't get past the small talk phase with Agent S
