Dreamer badge, why does it take so long?!

A few months back, two or so, I received the silver dreamer badge.

Since than, I visit 5 dreams per day. Let's just say I got my silver badge on March 10th 2015 and I visit five dreams per day, how long will it take to get the golden badge?

Apparently you need to visit 500 dream towns in order to get the gold dreamer badge. It's really tedious yes - but I guess it's intended to be obtained over the course of a year or so xD. Still - I think 500 is too much. I visit a dream town maybe once every 1-2 weeks on average, so at my rate, I'll pretty much never have that badge xD. Good luck though!

A while. I just got my gold dream badge about a week ago. I got all the money needed for the badge (used it as my "counter" on how many dreams I had to go) and then all day, I would just go to random dream addresses. Took me about five full days of just constantly going to dream towns to finally go from a bronze to a silver to a gold badge.

Yea I dont know if I have the patience to visit 500 dreams total, I think I have visited 20, maybe 25.
I need to start visiting more dreams

I usually do 20 random dreams while watching TV. As soon as I arrived I left right away. To keep track just have the amount of bells on you that you plan on dreaming. Or use a knitting clicker to keep track.

I'm in the same boat. I remember when I got my silver badge I thought "already?!" but now I've totally lost count how many more dreams I've visited since then… I thought for sure I'd have gotten my gold badge by now.

The silver badge is 200, so 300 more is needed for gold. That's 60 days of dreaming 5 times a day. So it would take about two months.

AGREED! I'm teaching starting this fall, and I can't carry my 3ds around as usual because I don't want to streetpass with my students. This badge will probably take me the longest.
