Dream villagers question?

A lot of people spend millions to have their dream villagers. My question is, how do you keep them once you spend so much on them? You get them to move in, but they could move out at any time couldn't they?

Sometimes they'll say it to your face or others will have rumors spread about it. If you don't catch the rumor you could lose your dreamie :/

Before I go into starting to build a dreamie list for my town, I want to know how everyone else keeps their dreamies from moving!

You honestly can't always guarantee it. There is always a risk of your villagers moving without you knowing; it happens all the time.
However, the best way to prevent this from happening is by talking to your villagers everyday, every single one of them, perhaps more than once. Especially if you already have 10 villagers. You can also keep track of when villagers ask to move. I hear their is a pattern people follow to prevent an unwanted move.

I've never lost any of my fave villagers even I time travel a lot. Talk with your villagers daily and usually at least one of them will tell you who is thinking about moving out. Also make sure that you have talked with them recently or otherwise they won't ping you about moving out. When villagers only talk about rumours, that means that no one is thinking about moving.

I have 2 dream teams xD, but I don't play both towns everyday so the chance of them leaving when I finally start up is definitely there. What I do is: I keep 3 characters instead of 4 on purpose, because now if I didn't play for 4 weeks for example, I start op the new character to check if somebody moved out. If somebody moved out I go back some days and check again with a new character again. If I see that their house is back on the spot it was, I run there and check if they are inside, all with a new character! I do that because if they are outside, they are not in boxes so it's save to start the day and stop them. If they are inside and in boxes I TT another day backward and check again with a new character. This method of mine proved to be the best as I did not lose any dreamies yet.
