Dream Town Reviews

Uhm I placed some paths now and would like to ask if you could take a look since you saw my town before there where any paths.
Im not sure if it looks better with or without paths, but I think with.
I'm also not good at placing paths (did it for the second time now and removed my last try because I didn't like it...) and could use some advice.
Would you mind visiting my town for the second time? uwu

First, I would like to say that I like that you updated your dream during a meteor shower. It;s a minor detail, but I think it makes your dream town a little more exciting and special. I think that the paths in front of the houses can be extended to reach the other side of the house, such as the one in front of Kabuki's house, I think you can add two more path tiles on the right side. Right now, it feels that the path is incomplete. You can also make a path that leads to the police station. Your police station is close to a villager's house, but I think you can make it work. There are a few flowers in your fence area, so you should put more flowers in the fence to fill up the space. I really like the tatami mat tiles around your zen bell and zen garden. I think it makes them look like they go together. Organizing your flowers around your fountain that is in front of the train station would make it look more appealing. I would suggest placing pine trees instead of fruit trees near your modern bench that is in the upper left side of your map. I would like it if your flower clock and fountain were aligned with each other, just because they have the same shape, I think it would look better. They are one space off from each other. Your cafe area look empty, maybe you can line the path with bushes and/or flowers to make the front of the cafe look more inviting.

(Sorry, I forgot a photo. Also, you forgot a number in your dream address, but I looked it up.)

I just got my last dream villager, and it's done for the most part! There's an area in the far Northeast corner where my last extra neighbor moved out that I don't know what to do with yet, so just ignore where the path dead-ends up there!

Your town certainly looks well developed. I like the placement of the town center and the plaza. They are close together, so that you're able to make a direct path. I like the blue and white roses and the framing you did around the fountain. All the trees make the town feel developed, but I also feel that they make me feel a bit claustrophobic. Overall, it looks like you put a lot of thought into your town. I would suggest covering up the train station area with paths, or maybe a border of the paths. Right now, the paths are just sticking out, I think it looks weird. You can also create a frame with the tiles around the Reset Center, instead of having that single path leading up to it.

My town is rural and not meant to be very fancy like most other town and my town is a partial WIP. Let me know what you think and the path is staying the plain way it is. Adds that homey feeling for me, I don't wanna set up some elaborate town not to have everyone feel at home :3 Windsor is meant to be a sleepy town at the bay so I hope you like it

My dream address is in my sig. I would like some ideas on flower arrangements.... My houses for my 4 characters aren't done yet but I have ideas for them and am still working on collecting all the furniture.

hope you enjoy it i did a ok job i guess. i went with a more natural look with a bit of rustic charm.

The first thing that I noticed about your town, was the placement of the villager's houses. The houses are too cluttered together, and I would have liked it if they were more spread out throughout the town, but with a long river, it can be difficult to place villager's houses. Some houses could have been placed near Lasthope's houses, but I understand that you want your perfect apple orchard there. I didn't know if your town looked more rustic or modern, because of the modern renovations and your mayor house exterior being modern. I feel that your town could be a mix of the two themes if you wanted it to look that way. I think the brick bridges look rustic, so you can change all your bridges to the brick one. I also think that having all the same type of bridge in a town makes it look more put together. I know you said that you're going for a more natural look, but I feel that the placement of the trees are random and unorganized. You can use more bushes in your town, since bushes do not obstruct your view. I would suggest placing bushes in the residential areas, so you can see the houses better.

I'm not a fan of your path choice. I think it is a cute path, but it doesn't work with the bridges. You can use another type of path as your main path and still use the skinny path that you already have. I would suggest some kind of brick or stone path. The illuminated arch near your bridge is off center and it bothers me. The bridge is two spaces wide, while the arch is three spaces wide, so they wouldn't fit together. I would replace the arch with two illuminated trees on each side or streetlights instead, and repeat the two light pwps on the other side of the bridge. I find that there are awkward looking parts on your paths, this is mainly because of the borders on the paths. I would like to see a pwp in front of your mayor's house or maybe more flowers. The space is really empty right now.

I really like your paths. I think they are pretty and simple and looks great with the water paths. You have a good variation of paths and placed them together nicely, but walking around your town, I feel that maybe it is just your paths that pull the look of the town together. The flowers are random right now, and would look better if they were organized in some way. I think that roses, lilies and carnations would look best in your town. You have a few pwps, but you can use more, to make your town look more developed. I don't think you need large pwps for your town, but you can put benches and streetlights in your town. I suggest the metal bench or modern bench and the round streetlight. You can also put a lighthouse on that cliff on the top left corner of your map.

I like the exterior of your mayor's house. I really like the more subtle look, compared to something like a castle exterior. The interior of your house is nice too, but some of the picture frames don't match the overall color of the room, so it throws off the look a little bit. Your house is nice and simple and if you had the ice vanity, it would have been perfect.
