Dream Town Reviews

Please review my town too! My dream address is in my sig. :)

Hmmm... That town tune is very familiar...Your town is really lovely! However, upon my first few steps, I was bit by a mosquito! Anyways, I really like the choice of your paths and also the variety. I like how you used the stairs paths that lead up to the villagers houses and other places. I think the little potted bushes, or whatever they might be, are really cute, but I also see that there are a few tiles missing on your town square. Perhaps, there was an event? or maybe Katrina or Redd was there? Your town looks very developed and organized, so I don't have very many suggestions. I do, however see some potential useable space in the northeast corner of your map. The space is small, so I think the largest pwp you can build there is 3x3. Like in your town, I also have 4 ponds in my town, and find it hard to landscape around them, but you did a good job dealing with them. I barely noticed them when I was walking around. Also, I really like how you did your framing around all the pwps, meaning, all the paths and flowers and such. It's very well put together. It seems like you put a lot of thought into developing your town.

I also visited your mayor's house. I really like the first floor main room. The colors made it feel like it flows together, however I think you can take out the marshmallow chair and I think the classic sofa would be a better fit than the creme sofa (the white sofa). Your other rooms are very interesting. They aren't particularly my taste, but it's interesting. I think the room on the right would be better without all those wheat fields though.

The southern part of my town is incomplete as well as the alt's house.

You should clean up your town before uploading it. There are a bunch of items on the floor, which really distracts from the look of the town. I feel that your paths and choice of fairy tale renovations really clash. The fairy tale buildings and pwps are pastel colored, so I think you should go with a more pastel colored path. I think you really like minecraft? Is it? You can always incorporate it in in your interior designs. If you are able to customize furniture, you can use custom designs. You can also place your designs on wallpaper or carpet. I see you have the alpine set, which can be customized.

I'm not going to mention the southern part or your alternate character in this review since you are working them, but I think your pwps are random. You should think about which pwps would fit nice together, or making them line up to other buildings or such. Maybe you can put the fairy tale lights on either side of the illuminated heart?

It's pretty incomplete though since I'm lacking hybrids and some pwps I want c:
3 of the houses are incomplete as well.

OMG! A tarantula! But it's not real I guess, because it's a dream. I like how you lined your villager's houses with flowers. I used to do that too. The different type of flowers you used for each house really brings out the villager's individuality. You should maybe line flowers around retail too. You said that you don't have very many pwps, is there any in particular that you want? I think that having a really long makes placing pwps more challenging, but there is plenty of place in the southern part of the map, like in the middle. I see that you have that tulip henge sculpture.... I'm thinking you can put the flower bed directly below it, so it looks like a garden. You can then surround that area with bushes so it can be sort of secluded. I also see that you have some zen pwps and a house near those pwps. Are you planning on making that house have zen exterior? I think it would be cute. I think you should have another bridge in your town too, it's a bit troublesome with the detouring. Maybe you can have a diagonal bridge that is near the cafe, or somewhere on the left side of Rosie's and Tom's house?

Felicity didn't stand still for a picture, so here I am, with a popper!

Your town is really cute, and I always enjoy playing with the objects that people leave in their towns. It was fun! I like how you laid out your paths. They look very neat and creative. I also like the flowers and bushes lining your paths, but I noticed a red rose growing where your path should be it's behind your house. I also noticed some wittered bamboo shoots. It's best to get rid of those as they tend to ruin the overall look of your town. The town map sign board is a really cute detail too. I would suggest doing the fairy tail town hall renovation. I think it would suit your town best and would also look great with Flurry's house. You have a lot of space on the bottom right part of your map (near Chihiro's house), you can probably place a pwp there, maybe something like a 2x2, like a geyser.

Oh! I just figured out your town tune! pon-pon pon-pon-pon~

Thank you for the review~
About the public work projects: I'm trying to get different benches, like the metal bench or log bench, since I don't really like the yellow one. I also want the picnic blanket to put next to the cutout standee with the picnic sign on it; the tire toy and the jungle gym to create some sort of playground; the bus stop and the zen clock.
To put a flower bed there is a nice idea, I'll try that^^
That was my cunning plan~ I'd like to give the house near the zen pwps some kind of bamboo or zen exterior.
I actually had three bridges and then wanted to replace them with wooden bridges, which worked for two of them, but she seems to think that I can't place the third one were it actually was because... reasons. She just won't let me put a third bridge somewhere decent u.u
Only place she'll allow is like five spaces below the bridge near to retail...

I would like a review please! ...as long as you ignore all the items on the ground haha.

OMG! It's raining on my face! I think you should upload it on a sunny day next time, or maybe on a clear evening, so that your illuminated heart will light up. I like how you placed bushes around your town square, however I felt a bit trapped. It was hard to find where the openings where if you go east and west. I think that the two bushes in front of Ankha's house are weird, like they are just there, standing in the middle. To make it less weird, you can line up two more bushes to the right of them and erase the path that is below the bushes. you're also missing a few tile pieces, but I guess you erased them to put your items down. You can add more water tiles to the front of your town center, so that it looks more like a moat. Maybe you can add a bridge but I'm not sure, because of the buffer in the front. I like how you have stair paths. It makes it look like your town has different levels. Also, the front entrance to your house is fancy! That rock in front of your train station really makes me sad though. I hate rocks, so I'm thinking you can erase all the path that is surrounding the rock to make it look less obvious.

Your house is really nice. Each room has an obvious theme and I really like your second floor room. It's really cute and creative and I like the concept of a shared space. Your basement however was very creepy an unexpected. I still liked it though.

Uhm I placed some paths now and would like to ask if you could take a look since you saw my town before there where any paths.
Im not sure if it looks better with or without paths, but I think with.
I'm also not good at placing paths (did it for the second time now and removed my last try because I didn't like it...) and could use some advice.
Would you mind visiting my town for the second time? uwu

I just got my last dream villager, and it's done for the most part! There's an area in the far Northeast corner where my last extra neighbor moved out that I don't know what to do with yet, so just ignore where the path dead-ends up there!

Thanks so much. This is my third town. It's almost finished.I just need to add more rooms to Lily's house. Please ignore the thunder storm. This town looks best when it's sunny.I did leave out an umbrella though.lol.
When will the sun come out?

Yay! Bunny costume! That is what I am wearing now.

Your town definitely looks developed, and I can see that you put a lot of thought into creating your town. I think your main path is very fitting for the name of your town. I think that yellow and pink flowers would maybe look better to line the paths with than red and yellow, since it would match the paths more. I see you have some pink and yellow roses next to Deirdre's house and I think it looks great, but the purple pansies next to Mallary's house seems mismatched, because you have cherry trees next to them, and I see that all of the other house's fruits and flowers match colors. Maybe you used purple lowers because Mallary is purple? I like what you did for each of the houses. They are each very different and I like how the interior matches with the exterior. I suggest using a table for Puurl's pic (inside the tent) and a chair in front of your ebony piano (in Honey's house).

You can put more pwps around your park area, like the tire toy or picnic blanket would be nice. You can also place a bridge near Lily's house (horizontally) so that it'll be easier to get around.

Thank you so much ! Ehe, good luck with all these dream reviews..

You have lovely town. You decorated your town using those gems that comes out of rocks. I've never seen someone use that before, but it fits well with your paths, however it was a bit strange when they are on the bridge. Maybe it's the fact that you have to step on them. The police station and the campsite are a little misaligned, but you can't demolish either of them. I'm thinking you can put plenty more pwps near the stone henge, like the archway sculpture, maybe? You have a lot of space, so I suggest large pwps. It seems like you're planning to put a path to Kyle's house, because of the gap between the roses. Also the dirt path in front of your town hall looks unfinished. You should make it lead somewhere. Your fruits leading to the beach area is a bit weird. It just threw me off. Maybe you can place them near the fairy-tail lamps instead? Overall, your town is pretty fun to explore, I keep seeing new things as I walk around.

Thanks neontetra for the review, and for the lovely picture you posted. So far you have been the only one to give me the best suggestions to improve my town..I like the idea of putting a chair in front of the piano, and putting the picture on a table.I am still trying to get the tire for a pwp.The picnic blanket is a great idea. Thanks so much.

Forgot to add...You noticed the little things that were bugging me.lol.Like the purple pansys around Mallery's house.I put them there cause they match her door, and I wanted a place to put them, but I think they need changed too.And the park is a bit bare.I may redo it a bit. Thanks again.

its a wip!

Oh, hi, Wendel.

Your town feels pretty empty, since it's a work in progress, but it looks like you're trying. I think you need more trees and flowers to make your town look more complete, right now they are just scattered randomly, for the most part. You should also pick up your gems around your rock. I think your town can also use another bridge. Maybe it can go opposite of where your existing bridge is, on the right side of your town square. You can add flowers around your fountains to make them more decorative and you can arrange your flowers by color or type. I would like it if your paths looped around instead of stopping at a dead end. It ruins the flow of getting around your town. You can also make a path that leads to your hammock. There's plenty of space in your town, so there's room for potential pwps, it just depends on what kind of feel of a town you're going for. You can line up arches vertically in front of your train station so that people visiting your town can walk under them. Also, your town doesn't need to be fairy-tale, zen, or modern, just because the renovations are.

Your house has a lot of things going on. Perhaps, you're working on it too, so I won't say much, but it's a good idea to have match furniture or elements. Right now, the stained glass window is being obstructed by your plasma T.V.
