Thanks for the review! It might have been the bugs that made you leave or the fact that there's a skull behind the tree standee xD

Hey thanks for the review of my town! ^^ I was actually planning to redo Lurai's main room, though the cabana and Gracie room was intentional (I probably will not change it imo). I was definitely intent on expanding Ai's bathroom, just expanded it today actually  and her upstairs room is going to be expanded too :)

whoa that was long >_>

~Dreaming of JOY~

House/s: ~Snow White's house~ The main room felt cozy, like the dwarfs' house, but I thought that the walls around the side were also quite bare. I understand that in a dining room, you may not want (or need) a lot of furniture. It was just a passing comment, really. The room to the left was small and simple, and again I felt that it lacked furniture. However, the things that were in there looked good together. The farmyard in the back room was really cute. I thought that was a clever idea. The upstairs room was fairly basic, but smartly put together. The dwarfs' room in the movie was also upstairs. Was that intentional? It reminded me of the scene where the turtle is climbing up the staircase. XD Hilarious. I also thought that the basement suited the theme of the house really well.

~Ella's house~ That wedding... aw. The layout was really clever. There was a lot of unused space. Maybe just putting some chairs where the flowers were would make it feel more like a wedding? The ballroom was cute. Maybe have a table with some food on display? Just a thought. The reception hall/ dining room to the right felt very quaint and regal. I liked the upstairs room. I thought the use of the loom still suggested her humble beginnings. I'm not entirely sure if I liked the downstairs room. Honestly, I'm still not entirely convinced that the gorgeous series is so great. I also thought that it was maybe a little heavy for the rest of the house. Just an opinion.

~Annie's house~ I liked the dead trees outside. I thought they looked cool knowing what's inside the house. The main room was sort of spooky, and the music really helped to set the atmosphere. The library was neat. (I'm a total book nerd, though). What I loved was that when you shift the camera of the room a little, behind the bookshelf is all this weird, creepy stuff, so it still carries the theme of the house through. That back room... *shudder, shudder* creepy. I'm leaving that one ASAP. The room to the right... not sure what to classify that as. The frog. I see what you did there. That was clever.
Upstairs... it's classy and trendy in a weird and unnerving sort of way. (Just wondering where you got the flooring from?)
Downstairs, okay, I can handle that. I thought that, being the basement and all, it was going to be multitudes creepier than what it was. Although that music... Ugh...

~Noel's house~ Inside was really special. Christmas is my favourite holiday in the year. The room to the left, for me, resonated with the meaning at the heart of Christmas; eating with the family. The back room was cute. I live in Australia, so I've never had a white Christmas or anything. The last few years it's actually been really hot. This room was festive and fun, though.
The kitchen/ dining room was charming and warm. Upstairs was the same. Downstairs was definitely a necessity. I'm glad you incorporated it into the design of this house.

PWPs and town layout: The tree and flower arrangements around the plaza was really beautiful. The well near Snow White's house was really clever. I grew up watching Disney films, so this resonated strongly with me. The flowers, design standee and trees also created a really beautiful feel.
The lemonade stand was ingenious. I love how you've used all your PWPs so far. They show attention to detail, creativity, and planning. The PWPs around and lead up to Ella's house made it seem all the more special.
The fruit orchard was really cool. The seasonal change around Noel's house was really cool (pun intended).

Additional comments: Your pathwork and layout was very thorough. All your residents had clear characters, and you carried this out really well in the layout and design of their houses. The general work with the town was really cute, and the storybook theme was evident. My favourite part of town (and it was so hard to pick) was the area around Cinderella's house. I've had to do it in two shots to get it all.

~Thank you for letting me dream of JOY~

~Dreaming of Farmland~

House/s: ~Ms. Mary's house~ I love how you've dressed her in purple, along with the purple flowers outside and the purple facade on the house. The flower shop was cute. I felt like there could have maybe been more stuff in the middle of the room, but in terms of creativity, it was a really great idea. The little details like the trolley in the corner helped to support the idea of it being a shop. The way you did the alpine series upstairs was great. I love that you customised it with the purple to tie that back in again, and it looked like a cottage-style bedroom. The way you make the house flow from room to room :-O It's amazing. The classroom downstairs... it just looked so great. And that wallpaper! Stunning. Oh, and the shells outside her house. Ha ha ha, I see what you did there.

~BO PEEP's house~ I love the carrot field you put outside her house. That was really cool, and it also tied in the farm theme, which is just... genius. The wool shop on the inside was a clever idea considering she lost her sheep in the nursery rhyme. I also think it's kind of funny that you have pictures of sheep inside. The sheep pasture out the back is really cool. I was just thinking that maybe the backyard lawn might suit that room better? I don't know. That was just a thought. I'm glad she's got a bed now, too. I think last time I visited her it was just a workroom upstairs. It's still got the sewing machine and the loom, which is cool.

~McDonald's house~ Hmm... now I'm thinking that the carrot field probably belongs to his house, not hers. I'm not sure. Either way... The hunter's cabin/ farmhouse you've got going on in the main room is cool. All the cow hide and the milk carrier and whatnot. I'm not a fan of cowhide but it looks really cool all in there together. I think it could maybe do with a little bit more furniture, though. It feels a little bit empty. The kitchen upstairs feels really warm, but I think that there might be just a little too much pink in there to be an old male farmer's house. Just a thought. The room to the left with all the chickens is pretty cool. There's not much in it, but it's a barn, so I suppose it wouldn't. The farmhouse out the back is interesting with the pigs and horses and whatnot. I think it's great the way you use the furniture to create the feeling of farm animals. The town fair is really cool, except your guy with the banana-split hat isn't wearing a shirt. Was that intentional? Overall, I think you've done a good job in achieving a cozy mood throughout the house.

~Muffin's house~ There was only one room, but the layout was really good. I liked that there wasn't a lot of empty space in the room. I think there's nothing worse than going into a room that has nothing in it. Although, I'm just wondering if the pink is maybe a tad too girly for the Muffin Man? Just a passing thought is all.

PWPs and town layout: Your paths are easy to follow, it's amazing. The "just dandy" sign with all the dandelions around it is so cute, especially with the two trees nearby. I'm a sucker for symmetry. The chicken farm is so clever. I don't know how you come up with all these creative ideas. It's amazing. The areas around the well and yellow bench are beautiful. I love how you've used the bushes and flowers to make the town feel so special.

Additional comments: The pathwork and flowers and trees around your town plaza is absolutely stunning. It's so cheerful and beautiful. There are so many flowers. It just makes the town so special. All your sign work in and around the houses is really great as well. I noticed that you did that a lot in JOY as well. Overall I thought you did an excellent job. Most of your houses are missing a lot of room. I was wondering if you're planning to expand your houses or if they're going to stay that size. Just a curiosity more than anything. It was so hard to choose, but overall, I think my favourite area was in and around Ms. Mary's house. I've just got the outside of the house for now since I don't want to upload a lot of pictures, but I loved the inside, too.

~Thank you for letting me dream of Farmland~

Thanks for the review.I was wondering if you would notice the shirtless maniquin.lol.I forgot to put on his shirt before I updated. :)

Dream Address: (DA changed)
Town theme (if applicable): A functional showcase I guess? I planned my town out to be as functional as possible, but I also want to showcase the different varieties of flowers and trees in the game.
Functional aspects: Path is simple and straight to each location, PWP locked field near station for various uses (turnips, inventory overflow, giveaway area), flower locked town (every morning spawn only shows up near retail), PWP free area for villager landing filled with common flowers that I wont care to lose.
As far as showcase aspects go, each section of flowers is sorted by either breed or color based on area size and location. Kind of hard to explain in further detail, but hopefully you can see what I mean with each section when you get there.
Category: Professional to Near Complete. Layout is finished, currently switching around villagers. I may upgrade the mule's houses and switch some PWP around, but I'm in no hurry to. I know my house can use some work, but I've been more focused on town layout to be honest.
Desired prize: Your time and review. Otherwise, nothing.

~Dreaming of Critters~

House/s: ~Lily's house~ The main room was really interesting. It's definitely not something I would have thought of. I just adore your whimsical style. I thought the room flowed really well, and it was easy to move around between all the furniture but there weren't massive gaps of empty wall space. The room to the left was festive and fun. I don't particularly like the cabin series, but it does create a feeling of warmth. The room out the back, was that some kind of lake? It took me a few seconds to figure that out. I think it was the lotus lamps that gave it away. Frogs playing bingo? That's hilarious. The room upstairs looked really cool. The gyroids started to annoy me, so I didn't stay for long, but the blue with the eight ball stools all looked awesome together. I'm still wondering where you get your flooring from. The cafe downstairs was really funky. I like how there's music in almost every room. I find it really weird to go into a room that's dead silent.

~Mittens' tent~ So, first I thought it was really strange that I'd seen a non-house in one of your towns, since your houses are always so beautiful. When I went inside, though, I realised that there was a heap of camping gear inside, so I'm guessing you've intentionally left it as a tent. Putting it near the river with the sign was really cool also, I thought. The chair and the trees made it really feel like a camping space.

~Smokey's house~ The main room was set up sort of like a shop, which was cool. That song was really annoying me so I tried not to stay too long, but I thought the layout and design was really good. The room to the left was like a teddy-bear tea room. It was really cute. I was never really a fan of mismatched furniture in rooms, but you always somehow manage to make it work so well. The camping room out the back was warm. It had a very western feel, and I wasn't entirely sure it went with the "cottage" feel that you'd gone with for the rest of the house. Just a passing comment. The park-looking area to the right was cute. If you made that room any bigger, it would feel empty, but I thought that by having it that size, it worked. The bear sign I thought was really funny. I don't really have a lot to say about upstairs. It was a little bedroom. The one comment I will make, however, is that it was perhaps a little empty in the middle. Just a thought. Hmm, going downstairs, I'm guessing upstairs is the guest bedroom and downstairs is the actual bedroom...

~Honey's house~ That main room is absolutely stunning. It was so elegant and beautiful. I wasn't particularly fond of he polka-dot series, but done in gold... it just looked unreal. The room to the left was cute. I felt like it needed some kind of balmy song to set the mood, though. The kitchen/ dining room to the right was really nice. I love the wallpaper you used. Upstairs was so balmy and tropical. It was like a little slice of island-ish summer. Downstairs, okay, now may be a good time for me to tell you I really don't like bees... *runs away*

PWPs and town layout: The flowers and bushes around the paths looked awesome. The paths were really wide, which is great, but the lining made them easier to follow. The area around all your villagers houses are so cool. The chair outside Mittens' house and the well near Smokey's house set the scene for each house. It's so clever. The town park is adorable. The bell near Re-Tail looked nice.

Additional comments: That path is really cute. Did you use something similar in one of your other towns? I'm sure I've seen something like it before. The area around Lily's house was really cute. All the lakes and what not, combined with that frog costume and the name "Lily". I see what you did there. I thought the same with Smokey. The fact that you'd put him in a bear costume was so funny.
I'm so sad you don't have anymore towns. I just love them all so much. It was really hard to pick a favourite area. I ended up opting for the town park, purely because I've never seen anything like it before. I didn't get the standee in the photo, and I didn't want to upload two, but I did see that it was there.
I don't know what you should call the theme of your town, but I definitely see what you're going for.

Thanks so much.Your review of Critters made me laugh. You made some funny comments.:)

I really appreciate that you reviewed not one, but all three of my towns.I know this takes a lot of time, and you do such a great job with the reviewing.

Town theme (if applicable): My perfect town, kinda hard to describe
Category: intermediate
Desired prize: 4 (gracie set)

~Dreaming of Ninten~

House/s: ~Lucas' tent~ Your inside was all mismatched and what not, but I understand that he's still in the tent, and your town is not yet finished. It seemed to have all the basics, but there wasn't any kind of consistency. Maybe go for something a bit more rustic until he gets a house? I don't know. Just an idea. I can see the start of a personality in that room, though, which is good.

~Summer's house~ Hmm, a bedroom, kitchen and lounge room all in one. Interesting choice. I felt as though there were some things in the room that went really well together, such as the bunk bed and the chic wall, and the fan and the lawn chairs, but I don't feel that everything in the room worked well together. It just looked sort of mismatched. It reminded me a little of a granny flat, when you're trying to put all the rooms in together but there isn't enough space. I can see hints that you have the knack for what looks good together. My house looked awkward when I first started, and as my catalogue grew, I found what I liked and what I didn't. I'd be interested to see what you do with it once you get more stuff.

~Kara's house~ Now it's starting to make a bit more sense. This room has more personality. What I would say, though, and I hope you don't think I'm being too judgmental or mean, but I think that it looks like you've just grabbed some random unorderables from your wardrobe and thrown them into the room to make it feel fuller. It feels a bit disconnected. Your rooms, particularly upstairs and to the left, show potential but they haven't been fully developed yet.

PWPs and town layout: I can see that this is a working progress. Being that you've rated your town in the Intermediate category, I understand that you may not yet have all the resources for the PWPs that you want. You did have a significant amount of PWPs, but they didn't seem very thoughtfully placed.

Additional comments: I'm not one hundred percent sure I liked the path you picked for the plaza. I just felt like you needed something to finish it off. If you're opting for a design that doesn't have a boarder on it, maybe use flowers and hedges or trees to define the edge instead? Also, since your path is only one brick wide most of the time, it's difficult to follow.
There is a hint of vision here, but I think it will take more time to be properly developed. My favourite area was the fountain and yellow bench PWP combo.

Oh noooo. I'd love to enter, but I'd have to time travel to get everything I need done. Stupid fireworks and villagers who won't request a metal bench. And Ozzie isn't moving out 'til the 27th, he's right in front of my house and I want a front yard. And Nookling's is still being upgraded to TIY, so I haven't gotten any bushes yet.

And my house is still a mess because I don't have the right furniture or enough space.

Maybe I'll time travel just this once...

Daniel and Nathan's houses (my other 2 characters) haven't really been worked on quite yet.

~Dreaming of Teaville~

House/s: ~Daniel's tent~ Well, there wasn't very much inside. The tumbleweed though, very appropriate. Was that intentional to have a tumbleweed in a virtually empty room?

~Tori's house~ The main room was well put together in terms of layout. I thought your room was easy to move around in. It didn't feel crowded, which was awesome. I like the sleek series in purple. The sleek wall and flooring looks a bit odd with it, though, because it's black and white like the series before it's customised. You don't necessarily have to carry full sets through each room. Have a look through your catalogue and see if you can find anything else that will work. Just a suggestion. The room to the left was basically empty. All your furniture was against the wall. Maybe consider bringing all the furniture together since most of it seemed random (I noticed it was almost all unorderable), and pull it off the walls a bit. Overall, I think you've focused too much on unorderables. Your house just feels blocky and doesn't seem to flow. Maybe have a look at other people's dream towns to see what they've done to get some ideas.

~Nathan's house~ Well... that's an interesting collection of furniture. *leaves*

PWPs and town layout: You have several PWPs, but it doesn't look like much thought has gone into their placement. My town looked the same when I first started. Then I picked a vision (I opted for the unoriginal fairy-tale theme because I'm bananas for fantasy and also I'm a girl and I like pretty things), annoyed the villagers that could suggest the PWPs I wanted, and began to plan where I was going to put everything. I'm still not finished laying all my paths yet because I'm really fussy and my villagers keep moving and messing them up. I understand you're still in the intermediate phase. As long as you have a rough idea what you want your town to be, you can start building it up.

Additional comments: I saw the blue brick path in the last town I visited. I'm still not completely sure that I like it, to be honest. But, of course, it's your town not mine. The step path you've chosen is nice. The width of your path was really good in most areas, which made it easier to follow. Planting flowers, bushes, trees, bamboo etc along your paths will enhance this.
There were some good aspects of your town, and hints of potential, but it was mostly underdeveloped. There wasn't a lot to see around town, so for my favourite part, I ended up picking the blue bench near the path. A fountain nearby and some flowers would have made it feel really tranquil and beautiful.
