Dream Address Feedback Wanted!!

Okay I'm walking around your town as I write this so forgive me if my thoughts are kind of scattered!
First getting there, I love that its raining in your town! I think the animal costumes are my favorite over the white fluffy dress/socks. The frog costume is my favorite but perhaps I'm biased!

I'm SO JEALOUS of your dirt paths. This must have taken forever and a day to complete. Theyre very cute but I admit sometimes theyre hard to navigate (I'm in-between Gaston, Beau, and Teddy's houses and I accidentally got off the pathways) This will probably be solved once you have all your bushes in place!

Your flower scheme is super cute. I think the colors work beautifully together and I love love LOVE the variety. I also really like the gold and pink roses around your bell tower pwp! And off course ALL THE MONEY TREES *insert heart eyes here*

I think the presents are super cute! I found the ones by the bus stop and the campfire. Made my way up to the train station and found the other outfits! SUPER CUTE!

I love the rainbow array of roses around the fountain by Re-Tail and the Cafe. Thats super cute and makes me wish we could breed green roses. The paths between Blance, Felicity, and Monique was very easy to follow.

I think all the presents are spread out nicely! Theyre all super cute and I dont think they're too close at all :)

So my only difficulty was the paths. Some of them were confusing but they give your town such a cozy natural feel I wouldnt change any of them. Also: Is there supposed to maybe be a path leading to the campsite? I found that particularly hard to navigate to.

I'm sorry I wasnt able to check out all the houses (Have to run to the store now!) But I can give them a look at later if you'd like! Your town is so perfectly adorable I'm super glad to have checked it out! I love love love it!!!

Thank you very much for that raving review! ^-^<3 The path that everyone seems to have a bit of trouble with is sort of meant to be confusing, because it's in the forest area of my town, so I didn't really want to make a really obvious pathway. There is a path to the campsite, it's just hard to miss. It starts to the left of Ami's house and kind of winds its way to the campsite. It's a path with the stepping stones, mushrooms, and clovers. I think it'll be more obvious once I have all of my flowers planted.

If you want to check out the houses, that would be lovely, but you don't have to if you don't want to. c: Thanks again for visiting, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!!! <3

I'm walking around your town right now, and my only thoughts are-
Wow. This probably took forever to complete.
I like what you did with everything a lot! I can tell that this town probably took FOREVER, though! I really like how you left out little presents throughout your town. It's cute!

Very, very cute town. I love it!

Thanks for visiting! ^^ Very happy that you enjoyed your visit! <3

Bump!

Bump. I've been adding lots of flowers and a few more bushes! Also, I edited a path slightly, so when I have it finished, I'll update my DA again. c:

I'm that much closer to being finished, yay! ^^

I just updated it! The new path isn't finished, so it may be confusing near the bus stop. I planted all of the bushes and have a lot more flowers, so it's way closer to being the final product! c:

Thanks to all who have visited so far! I really appreciate all of the input and feedback! <3

Please enjoy your dreams of (the more complete) Laverre! c:

I agree with everyone else on the paths getting confusing on some parts. The presents kinda looked messy all scattered about on the tile in front of the town hall. Perhaps wrapping them and arranging the sets into columns/rows/squares would make them look more organized? I really like your flower arrangements! The arrangement near the the fountain under retail had too many colors though. I really liked the blue/purple/pink/white on the one half you got there though. I would generally go for a maximum of four colors for flower arrangements per section. There is also a random tile labeled peach under the train station? Your symmetry is on point (drools). I would have liked the solar panel to be more out in the open. It seems counterproductive to have your townhall blocking it from the sky (even if it is raining at the moment). The sandbox PWP is a little bland as well (game designer's fault). You could probably make an even better one just by using qr designs. Either that or you could use another 2?2 PWP. Some more lights like the two under the bell would be cool. They really stand out in the gloomy gray background. You do you though.

I'd love for you to review my dream town as well! My DA is in my signature. :D

Hmm... Could you (or anyone really) be specific on what path(s) was/were confusing? I'm having a hard time finding it/them, since I made them so I know exactly how to navigate all of my paths. ^^; As far as the flower arrangement around the fountain, it's meant to be a rainbow, but there aren't green flowers, so it's lacking that color. Otherwise, I do agree with your max of four colors for flower arrangements. c: The flowers that you see all around the plaza and the "foresty" area will eventually be everywhere there is still grass; it's just been a slow breeding process. :/ Oh! And the peach tile is meant for a peach tree. I guess I forgot about it before I updated! ^^; Lol. Also, it took me graph paper and a few days of planning to get the symmetry how I wanted it, so I'm glad you noticed and appreciated it! :D

As far as the solar panel is concerned, I only built it in attempt to get a perfect town status. There were just trees behind the town hall, but when I decided I'd try to get a perfect town status, the towns people said they wanted more PWPs, so I took away all of the illuminated PWPs I had and a few others that were possibly hindering my status and built some more friendly ones. I've ultimately decided that receiving a perfect town status isn't worth having PWPs that I didn't plan on having though, so I'm in the process of demolishing the PWPs I built because of that and replacing them with what I had (like having the flower arch instead of the illuminated arch, or the water fountain instead of the illuminated clock, and the flower bed instead of the illuminated heart).

I'm not super interested in using QR patterns. That's why I have dirt paths. It's just so hard to make a path design I'm 100% happy with, and I'm not a fan of using other peoples' designs. I want my town to be my town, not someone else's. c: (Which is why the only pattern I use, (the stepping stone) I made myself. Also I can change the grass color around it to match when I'm playing!) I'm perfectly happy with the sandbox, although I do agree that it is sort of bland. I figured that the rest of my town would make up for it's blandness though, so I don't mind it. ^^

I hope I don't come off as rude, by the way. I'm just trying to clear up the concerns you seem to have. ^^; Anyways, thanks for visiting! I really appreciate your feedback, and I'm happy you took the time to review it so in depth! I'll review yours in a bit and PM you. c:

Haha you're fine! I like using my own designs too! Some of the paths that were confusing would be towards the southwest corner from the town plaza (before the river cuts through the town I think?) and around Cousteau's house, but if you are fine with it, you should keep it.

Ah! Well hopefully that confusion will be fixed once I have all of my flowers planted. c:

Okay, so currently, I'm editing the PWPs back to what I originally had planned (as opposed to the ones I built in hopes of achieving a perfect town status), and I also gathered all of the presents and put them in a big pile at the plaza. Another thing, I wrapped all of the animal outfits and their coinciding umbrellas and put them in columns labeled with what animal outfit they are. I also cleaned up the outfits at the train station by removing the socks, adding a hat to the one outfit that lacked it, and added an accessory to the one outfit that lacked it, so they look more uniform and compact as well. I haven't decided what to do with the remaining outfit that was at the town hall. It was supposed to represent a duck, so perhaps I could wrap it and put it with the other animal outfits? I definitely want to keep it, because I think it's really cute. c: If anyone has suggestions, they would help out a lot! ^^

My DA will show these updates once I have finished replacing the PWPs, so it won't be for a few hours at least.
