Hello! I'm looking for feedback on my town, so anyone who would like to help out is welcome and encouraged to dream of Laverre and give pointers/criticism/praise on my town in this thread! The name of my town is taken from Pok?mon X and Y where it is a forested village overtaken by mushrooms that hosts the fairy-type gym. The general theme or idea of my town is a French village on the edge of a forest.
Some questions I have for visitors:
-How are the houses? I've provided a description to go along with each one to help explain my reasoning as to why I decorated them the way I did. Hopefully they'll be of some help. I'll probably add to/edit these as I think of more/better stuff to say.
William's house: He lives at his grandpa's house. You walk into the living room first. The backyard is straight back, the study to the right, and the eat-in kitchen is on the left. William's bedroom upstairs and the basement has been turned into a relaxing spa.
Colette's house: A p?tisserie/caf? with lots of places to sit and enjoy some coffee or a sweet treat. The mermaid-themed bathroom is to the right and upstairs is where Colette sleeps. She spends so much time at work that she doesn't really have a chance to clean up much, so her room is a bit messy. (I haven't finished making the kitchen on the left, so when I finish it, I'll open that up.)
Ami's Tent: A camper who has made herself a cozy tent with all of the essentials like a sleeping bag, a camp stove, her handy backpack, etc.
-Are the outfits I've provided enjoyable? There are 9 total: 5 wrapped at the town center (they're labeled with what animal they are or resemble) and 4 at the train station. Are the labels easy to read? Is there anything I should change about the outfits in general or specifically (only really asking about the train station outfits and the duck)?
I haven't finished breeding all of my flowers yet, so disregard any bland, large amount of grass amongst trees. That'll be covered in beautiful flowers when I'm finished.
When I'm finished and satisfied with my town, I plan on doing my final DA update in the fall. Sometime in October, November, or maybe even late September. I want the grass to be yellow-green and during a time where the fruit trees are a different color than the regular sapling trees. Also, I want it to be 7pm. That's my favorite music in the game. ^^ I would like it to be either raining or a day when the sky is pink/purple/orange. I still haven't quite decided on that, so if you could give your opinion on that as well it would be much appreciated. c: As of the most recent update, I think the sky was sort of the colors I was wanting. Obviously when it's raining, the sky is just gray, but then the umbrellas become useful, and I picked out umbrellas for each animal, except the frog because duh, and then there's just one umbrella for the four outfits at the train station. Also, the duck outfit doesn't really make sense unless it's raining because it uses the raincoat and yellow rain boots, but I actually quite enjoy it and I think it's really cute. c:
