Who's all going to be watching it? I know I will be! I'm hoping it'll be worth going out of my way to make sure I don't miss it ^_^

I will be but I happen to share a birthday with Doctor Who so I'll probably watch it a day later because of doing stuff that evening. Looking forward to see David Tennant return though

Unforunately.. it's a one day event, as far as I know(unless you plan on recording it[wish I could do that])

I'm going to watch it at my boyfriend's dad's house, whereas my parents are seeing it at the cinema. There was no way I'm seeing at the cinema with screaming children and noisy people! (Alex just stays silent the whole time, he knows I'll murder him if I even miss a tiny bit!)

I'm going to make some Doctor Who biscuits the morning before, with the Doctor Who biscuit cutters my parents got me for passing my driving theory during the summer.

Don't forget they have the Biopic about the origin of Doctor Who on the 21st!! It's a must for old time fans and new fans!

I'll be working sadly, but I will be watching it the second I get home. I love DVR. I'm probably going to leave my cell phone at home that day so no one calls or texts me and spoils it.

Flying Mint Bunny - I didn't even know that cinemas would be showing it. :o

I'm planning to watch it. :) Not sure if I'll watch it as it airs or if we'll record it to watch it the next day.

I think I'm going to be at work unfortunately. I will be watching it as soon as I get home though. Has anyone else seen the prequel? It's here, not sure if people outside the UK will be able to watch it on there, but I think it's on the BBC Youtube channel as well.

Paul McGann, and the 8th Doctor regenerating! This means there's only one regeneration we haven't seen now. Well, unless Moffat pulls some stunt to make this prequel thing not happen. I really hope McGann is in the episode next Saturday, he's a pretty good Doctor. On another note, this mini episode makes all the Big Finish stories canon.

I'm quite excited to see where John Hurt's Doctor fits in, although since he's been named "The War Doctor" it seems we might finally get to see more of the Time War.

It was announced a while ago, but originally it was just for a very select few cinemas in the UK but then they expanded it hugely to tons of cinemas across the UK and in other countries but they were rather discrete about it... Plus I don't see the point in paying the overly high prices to see it in 3D at a cinema when you can watch it at home, quietly, in 3D or 2D and make your own popcorn!

I know I'm definitely watching it! My whole family have been dedicated fans since they were babies and I've been watching in since 2003, when i was only 3 mind you :)

What's your favourite villain btw? I'm obsessed with weeping angels, slytheen and the kid in the gas mask. Those monsters have haunted me since I was little.

i think theres a dr who club at my school so like they announced this over the annoucements i kid u not and im like wtf no omfg

doctor who SUCKS

Doctor who is absolutely amazing, definitely watching it, it's going to be in select theaters at the end of this month too. I'm gonna miss matt smith a lot though, not even gonna lie.

Peter Capaldi is a brilliant actor, he's definitely a worthy replacement. Better than quite a few people who were rumoured to be taking over the role. Plus he might be more like some of the classic series Doctors as well.

Ah, I've never actually seen peter capaldi act before, so I'll take your word for it! If he's like the classic doctor who doctor's then it'll probably be well worthwhile. A lot of the original doctor's were great (like #4).

If you've seen the episode of Doctor WHo "The Fires of Pompeii" you have seen Peter Capaldi act

There is a Doctor Who con in Dallas the weekend of the event. I will be there.

I would watch it at the cinemas in Australia if they weren't charging so much + one of our free channels is airing it at the same time the cinemas are showing it. Also, I prefer to watch it at home where my whole family knows not to say anything. :D

Oh I have actually! I never realized that was him, since I watched it long before they announced 50th anniversary episode. He played a really good Caecilius.

Did you watch Torchwood? He was in Children of Earth, as John Frobisher.

Ah no I only saw like one or two episodes of torchwood. I plan to watch it eventually. I've only seen the 4th doctor, like 90% of the tenth doctor, all of the 11th and I'm watching the 9th doctor now.
