Dr. Shrunk with fruit?

Ok so I've searched everywhere and haven't been able to find an answer. I hear you give Dr. Shrunk fruit in order to learn emotions from him, but everytime I go to the club it's closed, OR he's dancing. I read you have to give the fruit to him before the club opens at night.. but it's closed during the day. I'm lost.. When do I find him to give him fruit?

I failed to give him fruit on the first day the club opened. What now? D:

It should be open from noon to 8 iirc; during those hours he's cleaning up or whatever. That's when you bring him snacks and he teaches you emotions. what time are you going?

Yeah it opens at noon, when I first got Club LOL I thought it was always closed to, but my friend let me know it opens at noon.

The thing is I tried to go there at all hours of the day. I tried to get into the club at 1 P.M. today and it was closed, said it opened at 8. I tried again at 3 and the same thing. Maybe my hours are different? I'm extremely frustrated at this.

Is you gate open when you visit? Otherwise you should be able to walk up to the door, open it, and talk to Shrunk.

Aha. I just tried again (3:58) and it was opened. I don't think my gate was open the previous times that I can remember but all logic says that must have been it. Thanks for letting me know about the times and the gate guys. At least now I know it IS possible to get in! lol.
