I used to use lime wire, my fianc? gave me the name of a good site for downloading music but I lost the address. Anyone here have a site they use and trust, not talking iTunes.
Are you talking about downloading mp3s for free or paying for them? If it's the former, I'm not aware of too many people using p2p software like LimeWire anymore. Honestly I torrent/download my files from wherever I can find them, that looks safe, while also scanning what I download before opening them.
There are also tons of programs out there which you can convert various music files to mp3 format. Just be aware of what you're installing so that you can avoid any sneaky unwanted software. I use foobar2000, I find it pretty good when I'm converting flac/wav files to mp3 without losing quality.
I usually use the youtube to mp3 converter for macs, it downloads the music in hd so it's good quality. If I can't find the songs on youtube I usually search for the specific song and then add "mp3" after and get good quality results, sometimes you have to search for a while but that's only with singles. I'm not sure what site to use for full length albums.
