Don't you wish you could get Public Projects easier?

I haven't been able to get my town the way that I want it because of specific projects I don't yet have available. It's really annoying for one, and it wastes sooo much time. Anyone have tips or experiences they'd like to share? :|

I'm not mayor in my town so I don't think that I can even get recommendations from villagers. My brother is mayor. That being said, I've been waiting over a year for the police station, haha.

yeah.... my town is the same way, I have some cool stuff planned, but no one ever requests things. I feel like the longer you play in one sitting the better the chance, I've noticed they won't come up and talk to you first thing when you log on for the day, rather they do it later in the day... probably to stop people from TT to get everything so quickly

That must be aggravating. I'm hoping Nintendo develops a way where we can trade/sell projects. That would be so helpful, but I can't think of any reasonable ways on how it could be done.

I get the public works projects I want sometimes without even trying! Sometimes I use the wetsuit trick. To narrow it down even more, fill you pockets up with bells or flowers. This way, they can't buy stuff, sell stuff to you, or give you stuff randomly.

I have been waiting for the Flower Arch FOREVER! My peppy and normal never suggest anything, but my smug has been on a roll lately. I am at the 30PWP limit anywho, so I guess I can be patient...

I'm in the same situation as Smile Dog, my brother is the mayor of our copy. He does a pretty good job running the town but he almost never checks public works projects.

yeah, i feel you. i've been trying to get the hot spring forever, but everyone has suggested everything except for whitney... well i'm near the limit anyway of pwps, so maybe it wasn't meant to be. LOL

I wish there was a requirement to have a work suggested once a week. Same with the campsite.

I use the wetsuit trick all the time with the filling pockets up with flowers, etc. Because I'm an impatient person, it's very tedious work for me. xD I have gotten results but not the ones I want. I realllly want the Statue Fountain but I have no snooty villagers. You're lucky that you get the projects you want! That's awesome.

I'm just glad that we don't have to unlock pwps through streetpass. Now that would take forever. Unlocking them day by day isn't bad if you do it right. I used the save and quit method to get more pings. It's a lot quicker than having to wait over five minutes in the ocean to get a ping.
