When you finally get a dreamy that you've wanted so bad and it builds its house in a terrible place?! I literally just got Rudy from someone yesterday and he built his dang house in the middle of an open pathway. Like dude! I reserved a WHOLE vacant field in my town just for houses! Sheesh. >_<

Yes. I had some really bad luck when I first started. Now I do the villager reset trick to keep them from ruining my towns landscaping.

Thankfully that has never happened to me. Before I knew about plot resetting I didn't get any super bad plots so I'm kind of lucky. Now I always plot reset because I don't want my dreamies to ruin stuff and have to move them out

I finally got a person moved out so I can do my pathings AND THEN WITHIN THE NEXT 5 MINUTES I GET A STREETPASS AND THE VILLAGER IS MOVING LIKE 1 SQUARE TO THE LEFT OF WHERE THE OLD VILLAGER WAS ;A;

I'm so sad about it but I had Beau surprise move in randomly and his house wasn't in a good placement. If it was in a good placement I would've kept him :(

If I have a villager plop their house in a bad place, what I do all depends on which villager they are...if I really like that villager and want to keep them permanently, I just re-do my landscaping in that area. You never know, sometimes being forced to re-landscape because of a villager's house makes an area more interesting. If I don't like that villager and don't see them becoming permanent, then I just let them move out when the time comes. To me it's really that simple. I don't ever plan on plot resetting.

YES! I got that with two of my dreamies. Lucky built his house in front of my mayor's mansion and Ribbot built his in front of my main bridge.

This used to really frustrate me, but after a particularly terrible placement from a villager I really love, I've started plot resetting for my permanent move ins. I don't so much care where random move ins go, it's frustrating when they build over a path or something but I've got my town set up so pwps are protecting certain path creations and hybrids so it's not too much of an issue to fix things when they move along.

That literally just happened to me with Ankha, because I forgot to do the plot reset thing ;-; She put her house in a good yet bad place, bad because it was over a bunch of trees and flowers so now I have to move my paths around. At least it wasn't over valuable hybrids or anything!

For the future, creating a new character to see where the new villager's house is going to be (make sure you save if it's in a good spot) will hopefully help you prevent that! c:

I wouldn't have ever thought that you had plot reset in your towns. All your villager houses look so nice, spread out and natural. :)

Bob just moved in and uprooted a tree, bamboo and is too close to a bridge -.- Now I have to move the bridge to a different spot

Muffy just moved in front of Re-Tail. I did the reset trick twice and was like; okay, I'm just gonna gamble. ;v;

Yup. Hopefully the next game will add a feature in where we can tell the villagers to build their house in a specific area and not in others. Like you know, in real life. In real life you can't just build your house wherever you feel like it.

Yeah I hate it ;-;

I usually plt reset atleast once just to make sure any villagers don't crush my gold roses or something

Carmen moved directly in front of my beautiful home, LOL! But I love her so much, I could not care less :)
