So, yesterday I was going to pick up Jeremiah, a dreamie of mine, from someone else's town. I was so happy I was finally going to get a dreamie. When I was in the town, though, he wouldn't give me the prompt to move into my town. We eventually gave up on letting Jeremiah move into my town, and I went back to my town. That was when I saw the blocker. A villager had put their plot down. It was Curly. I hate it when voided villagers from other towns end up in your town at the worst moments

This happened to me when I was getting Octavian... Half and hour of error codes (the trader had poor internet at that time) to find that he wouldn't move in because Diva had dropped her plot in my cycling town. Then, after spending 10 minutes of cycling out a villager, I spent ANOTHER half and hour trying to get back into their town to pick up Octavian. Oh the horrors of that evening...

Yep!
Ankha was moving out of my town ,and Melleia was coming to pick her up.
So, errythin went smoothly. I was gonna campsite reset for zucker.
Woohoo! First time, he was in my campsite. I set everything up and coaxed Zucker into my town.
Only to discover that Barold had come from Melle's town. What was even WEIRDER, was that she had voided Barold 6 months ago and her friend had got him from the void pool.

Happened to me when I came to pick up Kyle from someone. I gave up and went to cycle someone out, they gave him to another person, I wasn't fast enough.
That day had to be my worst day for Animal Crossing.. Argh. Stupid Al! At least you're gone now!

Ouch, painful! I haven't had that happen to me (yet..). When I know I can be expecing a new villager, even from a random move in, I always check my town with a new character. Even if I can't prevent a random move in, I can at least put their house in a decent spot and prevent myself from being disappointed due to thinking I still had a spot left..
